and again my stupid capture program wont show the video display

anybody know what the problem is

and it happens on 3 capture programs i have
Virtual Dub
Windows Movie Maker
FlyCap2.5.2

ok i have a Canon ZR85 video camera- does anybody know if i can upload a video from the camera(not camera card) with only the usb cable
