Sounds like one of the M235is and Supra GT4s have been hit with a 3+ minute penalty for disregarding flags in certain sectors of the track.

I wish the 24hr had similar fanfare as F1, but it's just that, a wish..
24h races nowadays...

If that Ferrari comes back to win this race now that's be a heck of a story. They were really lucky they had that trouble where they did.

I'm sure there's many GTP members watching it along with us, but maybe like myself (i'm watching it full screen on my laptop), the race itself is my main focus. I know that's quite unsociable though. :indiff:
I just wish i was actually there among the estimated 250k trackside spectators.

Now it makes me want even more a good Endurance on Sport Mode.... Not 24, but let's say 2 hours or something like that.

Btw, 2nd and 3rd are fighting like they are 2 laps to end the race and there's still 18 hours left.... It amazing to see.

Also, and sorry for the long post, having done the event on VR makes me "understand" the crazyness of this track even more.

Also, mostly out of curiosity because I haven't caught their pit stops, is the Falken 911 actually running Falken tires, or is it on Michelins like the rest of the GT3 cars?

Also also, Opel Manta!

So apparently the SpeedSport entity bought the rights to air the N24 for North America this year, but didn’t have their actual service up and running in time and didn’t even start airing it on their one live channel, so that’s why they lifted the geoblock for us LMAO.

Am I missing something or why is there so little interest in the 24 hours of the Nürburgring Nordschleife? Is there another thread?

Here is the international livestream:

Forums have been a less and less popular place to do live sport/Motorsport discussions and watchalongs, it still works for longer form events like 6-24hr races, but more instant messaging services like discord or telegram suit the medium far better. Forums are better for archivable information and discussion, so news, mechanical stuff, enthusiast gaming resources and the like.

The upshot is forums are a calmer environment and you can have a conversation as opposed to everybody shouting "MANTA! DACIA! DRINK!"

To be fair, whatever team is running the Logan is actually insane given their speed differential to everyone else.

Also, apparently there's a BMW M3 GTR in this race?

Well, that was a slight pucker moment just now. :scared:

And after that, a 3-way battle for 2nd over the Doettinger straight while coming up on slower traffic!

Did I hear right that the #1 Audi just got like, 5 minutes worth of penalties at once?

Twitter is also very calm and Reddit too. Seems like many people are on the livestream chats.
