Hi everyone,

There are many car brands that have produced cool cars that are defunct. In this thread, you can talk about the one car manufacturer that you would like to bring back.

If I could choose, I would bring back Plymouth. I am a Mopar lover, and Plymouth has made some awesome cars, like the Hemi Cuda, the Prowler, and the Super Bird.

Please tell us why you would like to bring back the car brand of your choice. Give a good and detailed reason.

Thank you.

Also, you can post pictures of cars from the brand you chose. Just make sure they are related and not off topic.

If Rover was to be put in the game. This should be first on the list to be added. Rover SD1.

I've always liked Saab, I thought it was a real shame that they went defunct. About a year before they died, I sat in the newest 9-5 at an auto show, and it was the quietest and solidest car there, by far. Made the other luxury cars seem unrefined.

I'd bring back Alpine. I know there is an Alpine VGT but that doesn't really count. Alpine made some awesome race cars back in the day such as the A110 and A610

Technically, They kinda are back thanks to Renault (they just don't make street cars yet).

Although not completely defunct (i believe BMW owns the brand), i'd like to see the return of Triumph motor cars.

It would be nice if they did a small roadster, maybe similar in shape to the old TR6 or Spitfire, and give it a bike engine/ bike tech.

Here's a quick rough sketch i did, of the kind of shape i'd like to see:

[EDIT]

How it would look with the roof up:

Could be a VGT

Rover for me. As I passed a P5B earlier, I thought about how they were once thought of alongside Jaguars of the day and how even up until the mid-90s they were still very much a Middle England sort of car.

So many touch choices, god damn it, man.

Well, TVR then! They did solid cars, their design were good, I always liked their cars, There should be more Griffth's and Cerbera's!

Never heard of them

Each car was tested by being driven at 100 mph before being delivered.

Among other things, the first car with pop up headlamps, and the first front wheel drive American car.

And finally the legendary Duesenberg model J:

The SJ, pictured, made 320 bhp in 1932. The 1932 Austin 7 made 11 bhp. At the time, it was among the most expensive, exclusive, and fastest luxury cars one could buy. Today, SJs can sell for over $10 million at auctions.
