Name my child

Or thruxton :dopey:

What about Murray Walker? Not necessarily for a first name but either would work as a middle name if its a boy.

Can't think of a good first name. My knowledge of current BTCC is limited, what with living in America. Jackie might fit for both... Colin if it's a boy. Or Bruce.

Middlenamewise... Oulton, Newton, Cleland, Hunt...

Actually, I quite like Croft and Mallory as names. Might have to go knock my wife up again.

How about Shelsley?

Companies would rather hire a Jeff than an Enzo. I know this.

But if you insist on a driver's name, I would suggest the late Dick Trickle. Or you could name your daughter after Milka Duno, but only if her middle name is Nkookies or Wot depending on whether you adopt the first or surname.

I had to correct because that wrong letter changed the coolest sounding names to one of the worst sounding names.

Austin for a boy and Allegro for a girl... possibly Marina or Princess. If he's born with a vinyl roof the lad might appreciate The Ambassador... or Maestro. Montego sounds a bit too Spanish.

If you like the BTCC but hate Plato, surely a first name of Matt and a middle name of Neal (or Neil if you want to disguise it a bit) would suit.

I got it; if it's a boy; Heinz Doofenshmirtz. If it's a girl; Gertrude. That's got to be the winner names :P.

Inconspicious to slightly conspicuous:

Frank (Bullitt).
Max (Venturi).
Ken (Block).
Colin (Chapman, or McRae like G.T.Ace posted).
Rhys (Millen).
Carroll (Shelby; would be inconspicious as a girl's name?).
Graham (Rahal).
Tommi (Mäkinen; could change to Thomas/Tom/whatever).
Walter (Rohrl).
Michael (Andretti).
Mario (Andretti...perhaps too conspicuous).
Ferry/Ferdinand (Porsche).

Very conspicuous:

Lightning (McQueen).
Valentino (Balboni).
Velociraptor (Clintthrust).
Stig.
Mercedes. :P

If it's a boy name him Frodo! Or Arwen if it's a girl. I know they are not racing names but it's just my fanboy-ism wanting to see names like those in real life :P

If it is a boy, then I will suggest Jensen. Related to the F1 2009 champion in some ways, but sounds more common and normal to me.
I can't suggest a name for a girl because I can't think of one. Sorry. :P

But maybe you should come up with a name that is commonly picked, so there is a smaller chance that your child doesn't like the name. You should also name your child yourselves, as I don't think it is a good idea to tell your child that his/her name came from the suggestion of an online gaming forum member (excluding yourself, of course).

My advice would be to go for something slightly obscure however not really strange. However that is probably easier said then done.

Or failing that go for a really adventurous middle name, "Ayrton"??
