I'm surprised no-one's suggested Kool Mode D or Ariel yet.

If it's a boy call him The (Stig)

No, seriously a good name would be James (Hunt)

If it's a girl Sarah would be good .. not motorsport related but I like that name. :)

Vectra if it's a girl. 407 if it's a boy.

Edit: Or Mysterious Utility Wizard for either.

I know someone called Ayrton who was born less than a year after Senna's death. He actually really likes having the obvious reference as it's a great way to spark a conversation and sort the Motorsport people from everyone else.

From the names people have suggested i'd back Elise for a girl and Colin for a boy. The middle names could easily continue the Motorsport thing or be a nod to passed relatives.

I think Ginnetta is a pretty cool name for a girl.

Dino was what Ferrari named his son. I've considered that if I have a boy.

Austin? Morgan? Morris? All car related names.

So, I am due my first child at the end of July but we are totally struggling for names.

If it is a boy we would like some element of a racing name (but not so much that if he hates racing(and breaks my heart) that it'd be a burden).

If a girl then some car element would be good e.g. Eleanor (from Gone in 60s), Jessica (Top Gear tuheme), but not a car brand name.

We are from the UK so NASCAR related names will be lost on most people here. However names do not even need to be car related.

Traditionally my family have 2 middle names and the surname is Young, hence my acjy username.

So GT planet, can you come up with the name? Single names or full 3 names plus the surname are accepted. You are up!

Already met three girl infants in the last six months named Sophia. Should have known there was a pattern to this.. . .

Look no further than the name Monster, not only would it be both cool & terrifying for other kids but its also quite the racing driver reference too.
