nascar/ALMS cars in GT5???

before you flame ive searched to no avail, unless there is a dirt old thread somewhere. now for the questions

its been confirmed that daytona superspeedway and the road course is being included in gt5. I guessing that daytona will replace the "superspeedway" from the previous games..yes?? with the inclusion of these tracks would it be safe to assume that there may in fact be Nextel cup cars and more ALMS cars in gt5?? I would really think so, other wise why pick daytona, sure its world renowned as a superspeedway, but the reason it is is nascar, I would think it would be kinda dumb not to include some NNCS cars in the game to race on it. anybody know anything??

Dunno which Superspeedway you're talking about there. I imagine if Twin Ring Motegi is in GT5, chances are likely all the courses there will be included. And IIRC, the other Super Speedway that was in GT2 and 3 was not included in 4.

yeah youre right, dont know what I was thinking, ive played them all so much sometimes it gets all mashed up.

Considering the fact GT4 included a decent bit of LeMans cars (M3 GTR, R8, Pescarolo, Peugeot, Viper GTS-R, C5R, etc.), I would expect a couple more cars such as perhaps, a DBR9 or C6R.

EA has the NASCAR license so I wouldn't expect anything officially NASCAR licensed. PD may throw in some generic stock cars, though

As for ALMS, I think it's very possible they include most of the field

With PD's current license the following cars from the ALMS are possible:

Audi R-10
Corvette C6-R
Saleen S7 GT
Aston Martin DBR9
Ferrari F430 GT
Panoz GT

The rest of the ALMS field is made up of Porsches or non factory cars
