You know, I really want to make a more visual entry list, so I'm going to FR you all, and then go online and take screenshots of your drivers. Like Graphite did.
ok.. sign me up... I need to check which account an driver I want though and will let you know later today if that's ok?
Goes on google for "section of screen grab" app for XP = try = http://getgreenshot.org/
Before Windows Vista, if you wanted a screen shot you had to use the less than intuitive method of pressing the print screen key and pasting the screen shot into a graphics program to add markup and save it. With Windows Vista and later, Microsoft has included a utility called the Snipping Tool to make capturing screen shots easier. Of course, there are many free screen capture tools for all versions of Windows if you've not upgraded to Windows Vista or Windows 7.
Mac and Linux both have screen grab built in to OS.
Google spreed sheets for results allow all users to see there past results with out having to wait for you to post them again. This stops the "but I came second twice" post "how can I behind X when hes never got higher than 4th". So far google has not deleted any spread sheets but Pictures of the results did get deleted from shems flicker account some how.
When you host a remote race there is a button called save replay before race.snip
Alright then, you can sign me up too. I'd like to enter a little more competitive driver this time, but these are all on my alt and are raced all the time, so it might have to be N.Juarez again, at least I know he isn't raced by anyone using the widget. Guess I'll just have to hope he'll do a little better this time. But give me another day or two, I might train up one or two of my level 20+ drivers to 40 and see whether they'll end up with better stats. If not, N.Juarez it is.
Great! Also, Graphite, can you be a little more specific so I know what to do when I try it when we have our first race? I would appreciate it.
Also, Graphite, do you know any other people who can help us fill out this entry list before Friday. With the good progress its making, I assume we WILL get 16 by Friday, but still, it would be good to get them sooner rather than later. Any people you know who'd be into it?
Actualy You can forget about Replayversion 1Save game data will only be viewable by 1/2 of the racers.
Because saved replay Data can't jump game regions, the replay data contains region locking code as used in the Save game function.
1/2 of the entries are EU region and your from US and shem is on Asia/HK region. Thats not going to work.
You are going to have to record replays via capture card and then edit with software like Sony Vagus if you want them on youtube. May be a highlight real at half way in the season instead.
Gran-turismo.com Remote Race Web Site usage for presentation during season.
Using shem as example again. As you have not logged in since the FR.
(Actualy hit a snag again with shem profile so had to go back to my profile.)
During a race you can see the chart screen update. when the race is over you grab a pic and then host it on a site, an external site like Image shack/photobucket does not limit the file size/dimensions like they do here.
(Please notice that they have fixed the 30 lap display now.)
When the race is complete a new table is available to be snapped and hosted.
Photobucket/imageshack even include the "direct image Url" copy option with BB code added for you.
you then post both images in this forum using that BB code.
(no need to copy the results each time. just the pic.)
Both displays can be posted per race. But if you have internet errors only the second image can be used as the first is only during live stats.
(Any body in the race can see these the same way even if your PS3 is off.)
(s.a.w.i.p.)
there you go shem....

Also, Boogie, I would be very pleased if you could persuade this person to join. I don't really understand why this would need persuading. Pardon my ignorance, but really, there's no downside to Remote Racing. You get rewards only, and it never takes a toll on you. Plus, I'm not planning to hog their drivers by running a million races in the championship. Just tell him that.
I agree with all your reasons for the positive benefits of joining this series, my only doubt is whether he'll join if it's compulsory to be a GT Planet registered member.
Like I said in my previous post, he's been a long time lurker on these forums, so if you tell me that it is mandatory to be a registered GT Planet member in order to be eligible to participate, I'll tell him that, which will hopefully give him the incentive to register and sign up for this.
If you're reading this Stig, come on register and sign up!!! Don't worry everyone else, he's not the REAL Stig!!!
