Providing those Chevvies get the ballast sorted, it's gonna be a hell of a season. Expect a few big ones as well, it's a lot closer than trucks.

Gonna be a fun season of I don't lose concentration because of a text in turn one and spin neljack..:)

3 WIDE!!!

I was doing nicely at the Monster Raceway, in our 3 lap race I passed 5 cars at the first corner and 2 in the last corners for a win :sly:

Look up Kennedy raceway.. The similarities are scary.. Max speed there is 120-130 on the straights and about eighty in the corners..

Yes, I had great fun. I feel the Fords will have a disadvantage at Monster Raceway.

Sorry I haven't been around guys, was finishing up the FMSC stuff. The mid-week practices are not at an ideal time for me as I don't get home until around 9pm EST, but I should be able to start making practices on the weekends.

Finally got a headset.. Now nobody laugh at my voice..:grumpy: got mw3 as well:D

I think that Ford, and Dodge are great at the Oval's (Big one's) and the Chevvy's are best at the smaller tighter tracks, in my opinion!

Well I believe you are correct the camaro will have a little advantage of smaller tracks. But it is tail heavy so when the tires wear out as the laps go by the camaro will start to get tail happy. The challenger on indy is good but I am quite interested on what a ford can do. With it's straight axle the ford might not have the advantages in that race

Where's the schedule?

And I should be mattymc96/mattymc1996 :sly: but it doesn't matter to much at this stage really:)

the Ford, had no luck at the small oval, but the Fords were on top with the Challengers at Daytona, i would be interested to see who is on top at the road-courses!

I believe with the right tune any car can be great. I went with a conservatiuve tune, and was able to do Daytona in 2 stops 1 for tires and one for fuel. At indy I'm able to complete the race with 1 stop being rear tires only. I have aggresive tunes for the camaro and challenger that will post extremely fast time for a period of 15-20 laps, but tire wear suffers. Where daytona, and indy both have to be done in 2 stops.

I have tuned a Challenger and a Camaro, and they both will run extremely well at any track. I give credit to the guys tuning the fords. The weight balance sucks, and they handle like crap on tight tracks.

Also seeing that there is only a minimum weight I was able to achieve a 49/51 weight balance in the camaro and it is faster, and more stable with the same tunes I was running.

Here are my current best lap times with both tunes

Daytona:
Aggressive- 50.326 +.05 for a total of 22 laps
Conservative- 50.673 +.02 for a total of 36 laps

Indy:
Aggressive- 54.639 +.1 for a total of 17 laps
Conservative - 55.432 +.08 for a total of 28 laps.

I'm interested in how they will handle on old tyres with no aero... Also a pack of cars did not seem to be as fast as I though compared to say 1 or two...
