It's like Shift 2 in that when you turn the wheel it's very hard to predict what the car is going to do or how far it's going to turn which is a horrible feel to have whilst driving. Just about bearable for £8 though.

Takes time to get used to it, physics wise. The more you play it, I'm sure you will get better. :)

Urgh, I hope so man. Another annoying thing is that the AI seem to brake whilst exiting the corner leaving me to plough into them. Sorry, what?

Yeah that was a big issue offline, I think they tried to sort it out in one of patches, I guess it didn't happen.

Well I can't be too ticked off to be honest, it cost £8, what did I really expect? If I want to properly drive these tracks looks like getting them on iRacing is the only real, yet expensive, solution.

Its ridiculously easy to win sometimes. But the AI has a nasty rubber-band habit.

Finally got it in the portuguese Store.

And I'm ... LOVING THIS GAME! My quick first impression:

Tried a Indianapolis race in Legends settings (this basically means all aids off) against Medium AI. Set the race for 20 laps, with quali, tyre wear, fuel, full damage. And ... wow. I did pole at the 2nd try, first one caught me un-prepared for off-centered wheel driving and I crashed immediately out of the pits. Then in the race I pulled away easily, and all seemed too easy until, at the 17th lap , I started lapping the field. Then I realized I'm not (yet) prepared for millimetricaly accurate packed racing ... and I caused a BIG one

After caution I got a crippled car but I was still first so I managed to stay in front after green and nursed the car to my first ever NASCAR victory !!!!!

First impressions? Liked the game. A lot!

Of course, I raced against Medium AI in a very simple four left corners flat track (need to brake though ... :D ), but I suspect even the harder AI will be easy. However ... regarding physics and wheel feedback this is no arcade game. And the immersion needed from any game (and so lacking from the analytical GT) is definitely there. Even the "redneck feel", starting with the menu music. What is that, George Thorogood? LOL me likes, first thing I thought was

HELLL YEAHHHHHHHHH !

Did I forget to mention that I got a new PS3 full racing game for 9,99 € ? I did! May I say Hell Yeahhh again? :dopey:

I really need to get this from PSN!
Altough I would rather have it on disk, but for this one I make an exception ;)

Had some epic running on NTG11 with some fellow GTP NASCAR racers tonight, going to havee a room up tomorrow approx 9pm BST in a private lobby, add Furinkazen if you want to come along :D

I guess how the wheel feels can be pretty personal sometimes :)
It's not as good as in GT5, but definitely comes in second place for me in my list of PS3 racing games when considering the input you give to the wheel and what you get in the game.

I play with a DFGT and I'm really happy with how it behaves. Just FFB could be much better, but that's basically the only complaint I have.

Just got the game for HK PSN for mere HK $62 or less than US $8 :D, I am starting to like it, used to play NR2003 on PC :) Anyone still play this online ? Funny thing is the information on the game icon says ver 1.0, but I have the 2010 and 2011 cars to choose when starting career, and it seems to have Patch 3 already. After I installed the game, it does not require any updates, I can go online.
