Some fresh faces turning up for season 6. Wonder how many will make it Full Time

15 spots on the grid, the full timers gain priority. Remember back to a dropped score (CANNOT be the season opener or closer) and points for leading laps, pole, and most laps led.

WOW I see your giving yourself less to do this season Furi with having to sit through the entire replay finding out who led the most laps in a race that frequently changes leaders.

You should bin that one.

Give it to someone else, I usually end up watching the replays a fair deal on saturday mornings anyway

Nope, you just fast forward each lap, really doesn't take too long, we do it in SC/NW :)

Having extra points gives more incentive for singe car teams to try and do something as well, an extra point here or there...

I suppose you're going to follow the NASCAR rule about laps led? It only counts if the driver passes the finish line ahead?

In a portuguese Sprint Cup series where I was a steward last year I counted the laps led easily by just checking who passed the finish line in the lead at the end of each lap... (didn't have to see the whole replay for that, just had to skip each lap)

What do you mean? Its just see who was leader end of each lap.

That's exactly what I said... I guess you should've quoted Fox...

My mind is scrambled at this time. For those of you at the test tonight, how do you think the pacecar went?

If any of you want to team up or want to take a chance on a rookie, message me.

If not, I'll just run Independent.

Not me, revision and garage work, but I'll turn up when I can 👍

That's how it work IRL :dunce: That's what Spurgy was saying as well, Might not be as effective at Motegi because the track is short but places like Spa, it'll be a breeze 👍

Counting is hard work because in your own replay laps are in your laps not that one who is leading. Everytime you go next lap it's your lap not anyone else lap you might wanna check.

Jammy, you returning for Season 6?

If you look at the timing screen, the person who lead each lap will have a 0 second gap so unless you have to skip laps like at Motegi should be easy :) I'll happily do it if Furi doesn't want to.

Yep just check split times, and it would be appreciated Spurgy 👍

Nissan GTR Gran Turismo is pacecar by the way - pace speeds to be put into the OP, along with perhaps a new section for the pacecar driver.

If you say so... although the Skyline is a bit slower than the rest of the field...

Added a rule clarifying when a driver can get there lap back.

I just hope we can get a decent attendance to other events besides Daytona and the Indy finale.

However, Motegi West might be a tad too scary with a huge field... :P

Agreed :scared: , hope pacecar driver is ready :P ... if Pacecar DC's by the way, just go with old system and use leader instead to slow them down.
