Someone pointed out on another forum Smith has incorrectly predicted the Finals champion for the last 6 years. :D
That's not really something to be proud of is it? I mean, the odds of getting it wrong 6 years in a row either show the person in question is incredibly unlucky or an idiot.

The smiley was more of a laugh at Smith who is arguably...very much an idiot.

Man, I thought Erick Dampier caught the worst luck being on the losing end of the '06 & '11 Finals being on the opposite team, but damn if Varejao isn't somewhere questioning his career.

He really did give all his love to Cleveland for his 12 seasons with them only to be traded after losing another Finals with LeBron & now witnessing his only other team win on the other side.

AyeshaCurry
Everything according to his plan

But, but, but, I thought it was rigged. Now it was part of God's plan.

Sort of. The Cavs actually traded him to Portland, who will still be paying him millions through the next two seasons even though he never played there.

I just want to stop in and post this is the first time in my life my hometown has won a professional sports championship. Never thought I'd see it, and damn!

Curry was supposed to play off the ball, not off the court. Man, they figured him out. Kyrie went Eleison on his ass. Draymond Green gets respect from me. He's really the beast of burden on the team. I think it would have been a different series with Bogut, but, hey, that's basketball. Lebron and Kyrie took over, and everyone else played great defense.

You could say his career was a... flop.

I hate watching Green play the game. Just disgusting way of carrying himself. But... I guess off the court, he ate his crow & congratulated the Cavs. The dude was the only reason the Warriors were still in this game.

I don't pretend to understand all the rules and strategies of basketball, but hell it's been fun to watch, especially as someone who hasn't ever really followed the game.

I ended up watching 6 of the 7 games.

Congrats to Cleveland for winning the NBA Championship, and to come back from a 3-1 deficit when times were so bleak early on. This last game was hard fought, and was nail-biting until the very end. This was what great ball was all about, and I'm glad to be able to have watched it.
