Someone pointed out on another forum Smith has incorrectly predicted the Finals champion for the last 6 years.

That's not really something to be proud of is it? I mean, the odds of getting it wrong 6 years in a row either show the person in question is incredibly unlucky or an idiot.

Man, I thought Erick Dampier caught the worst luck being on the losing end of the '06 & '11 Finals being on the opposite team, but damn if Varejao isn't somewhere questioning his career.

He really did give all his love to Cleveland for his 12 seasons with them only to be traded after losing another Finals with LeBron & now witnessing his only other team win on the other side.

I think it would have been a different series with Bogut, but, hey, that's basketball. Lebron and Kyrie took over, and everyone else played great defense.

I don't pretend to understand all the rules and strategies of basketball, but hell it's been fun to watch, especially as someone who hasn't ever really followed the game.

I ended up watching 6 of the 7 games.

Congrats to Cleveland for winning the NBA Championship, and to come back from a 3-1 deficit when times were so bleak early on. This last game was hard fought, and was nail-biting until the very end. This was what great ball was all about, and I'm glad to be able to have watched it.
