GT6 demo is ok but not enough content yet.. (For me anyway) to make a fair comment. There's been some changes in the series too.. Have a look at the first page and it would be great to have you back racing mate... :-)

Start dusting fulch love to have ya back. Fun cars think you'll enjoy them. Demo was ok but hanging for whole game.

How did the race go last weekend?

Tough mate. Pit strategy and tyre management was key. One pit I had 1L left and I know others ran out.

It was the longest gt5 race I've ever done. My back hurt and my brain was fried afterwards. Still better than the rain

How did the race go last weekend?

Was a great race auts, hard driving with all the other stuff floating around in ya head. didn't know where everyone was till right at the end. mucked up my last fuel stop and had to pit end of lap 49 of 50 for 7 litres of gas. missed the pink thing driving around but. hope your back soon mate.

I'm going to make a massive change to the series to try and help to keep the racing a lot closer and mix it up a bit. this week it will be 2 x 25 lap races at Rome. each race will last around 30 mins with a 5min break between them. qualify will stay the same. race 1 and 2 we all start on medium tyres. each driver still only has 1 set of soft tyres which they can use in either race 1 or 2, but not both. each driver has the choice of which race they want to use their soft tyres in, but can only use them in 1 of the 2 races. a pitstop in each race is mandatory and you must put on a fresh set of mediums if you are not using your 1 set of softs. race 2 will also be reverse grid of how we finish race 1 to make the use of your soft set more strategic. this should help anyone who has an early disaster knowing they still have another race and if any one drops out they have a reason to return. it should also ensure we don't keep getting the same result every race. hope this helps. any questions please leave a posted good luck and see you at 1.30 pm Sunday

Sweet.......

Sounds great chance. It will definitely make winning both very difficult. Which makes it a points game instead. If you win 1 then you need to gain as many places as possible with the chance you might get stuck in traffic while the leaders take off.

Should make for some very interesting racing. Good job chance.

Tyres seem to wear evenly. 20L per 5 laps is pretty good. Haven't checked tyre life but I'm betting 15 on mediums, since when are cobbles tyre friendly?

lap times grand valley
mediums
clint 151.347
emu 152.250

emu 150.220

your tyre wear sounds right. its a low grip track so tyre wear is slower. cant wait looking forward to some good battles today

Dob myself in. Really frustrating because I didn't change my tyres. But I just checked the replay and I started on softs. So DQ me for second race.

Really friggen annoyed at that because the tyres were still default mediums after the race. Just checked

after a quick check of the replays, rx on lap 8 hit clint on the hairpin and although he did not spin the move was not on. he then repeated this move the next lap on me and then lap 23 on autech who did spin and he did not redress on track so is demoted to last place for race 2. please be aware if you spin someone you are to wait and redress the situation and not just drive off thanks tim

i have had a quick look at the race 2 incident. from what i saw fewzo makes a slight move causing sean to make a move and rage had nowhere to go. waiting full the stewards to review but will keep you all posted

Thanks for that Tim.

Wicked battling in both races with Emu and Luke. Neck and neck most the race. First race was the hardest with Emu eventually out classing me by upping his pace just as I was planning on making a run at him. Must say I'm stoked with my 2nd race lap times, first time I remember being the top of the lap times.
Yeah I did wonder bout your tyres Clint as you turned so tight on the first right hander, regardless I think you would have placed where you did anyways, so no wuckin furries.

Unless I'm super lucky with the move next weekend I don't see me joining you for next weeks race. It would be a shame for their not to be a pink car on the grid, so I will be creating one and sending it through to one lucky racer in the hope they will race in it in my honour.

as it ws the first weekend and you didnt win will let it slide. my fault for not checking mate

Appreciate that. I'm definitely a fan of the format. Less likely to have a massive crash on non-street circuits but the red mist descends when the walls are there

yes Mr Clint I agree but that's racing. you can only control your own actions and hope for a clean run with the reverse grid race

this will be our final round in the dodge and is at road course Indy. same format as last week but 2 x 20 lap races. the new series is now up under the trans Tasman sprint series

Top racing sunday guys. Very enjoyable the new format. thx for great battle auts in 1st race. 2nd race was the same with luke in the mix. Some of the best door handle to door handle racing I've had. Girly pink car running around with out auts in it that would be weird. If it comes my way there would be 2 conditions for me to climb in, 1 you would have to send pink race skirt to race in and 2 sheep skin seat covers would have to be removed as im not as keen on wool as your self. Well done to clint in first race and top job tim in second race. cheers emu

Haha. Thank you for the application to fly the pink flag. I will fit a Kangaroo trap on the front for your safety and, hopefully, your meal that evening. As for the sheep skin covers, they were removed last week for a matching pair of Playboy bunny covers. Much more girly. What dress size are you?

I believe the size was DAMN!

Have the 'my family' stickers been removed? I realise a lot of time and effort was invested in arranging 300 sheep on the rear widow but they have to go mate.

My fav shade is "Passionate Pink" available with the purchase of a Lexus LFA. I'm trying to think of a suitable comeback, but after the onslaught it is rather difficult. So I will resort to type and tell all you to "Shuddup owh, smash uz!".
