I spammed the connect button and got on.I think it's a high usage issue.I have the same issues with Pubg at the moment.

You may, or may not, believe this, but a successful mission here.
Turned on the PS4 to be greeted with Christmas music and the Bugatti clay clip.
But not connected.
Hit the Reconnect button, all good.
Was shown a "Connection and save file transfer successful" message. (Not verbatim, but best I've got)
Then shown a "Save data has been saved to the server" message (Absolutely verbatim, because it is still on my screen)
Done deal.
Offline play advanced to online save, when playing GT league, and console in Rest Mode.
And all it took was for me to not use my PS4 in any way, shape, or form for about 8 hours.
O ye of little faith.
But in all seriousness, it worked as l had hoped, ignoring the stupid server issues tonight. 👍

Because.. I already won them fairly before the game wiped the results off. If you think Tokyo East and Blue Moon could be described as fun we might be on different wavelengths! For the record I just beat all three again this time using N700 vs N1000 cars and got a 60% bonus for it. Like there is anything to spend that on.

Just fired up GT again...hit the reconnect about 50 times still no good....give up ps4 about as good as the 1X which I dumped as it had too many issues...

Still not working here in France. And I've noticed something: you can't access brand central offline! 
I understand this is christmas but for an online game, where is the post on twitter or on the official website from Poly? No one asked for online saved, this is your choice Poly and now you have to act like any modern dev.

Can I please ask you SnowLeopard, how to reboot your PS4?Wasn't working for me repeatedly. Closed app and still not luck.
Rebooted PS4, and now it's working! Maybe coincidence, maybe it's a fix... I'll let you guys figure it out

This is just stupid... Seriously, what the hell, I still can't connect to the servers, I've been trying since yesterday and still CAN'T CONNECT!
If this won't get shorted out TODAY I'll sell the game and buy myself another game THAT WORKS!

I couldn't get online last night or this morning. Slowly pressed reconnect a few times. I think on the 4th attempt it logged on. It looks like a traffic issue as stable once connected.
Keep trying reconnect manually, it should let you on as others log out until pd sort this.
I also wish for a side by side local hdd save for offline play. This is frustrating a lot of players or if they are new to the franchise or Playstation doesn't look too good.
