Considering this isn't really an Underground reboot, instead more of a brand partnership exercise with some celebrity name drops...
You have a point, I wasn't really optimistic about the game seeing as it's a modern EA game.

An Underground reboot wouldn't be the same without low budget cars.
That got me thinking - I've taken the car list from the original Need For Speed Underground and replaced it with the most modern equivalents, only using cars produced during this decade:
-car list-
It looks great, the only thing is that I'm more of a fan of 80s cars. I'll create a list soon.
Illegal street racing where most people usually get their cars legally. It's funny because the 206 which has appeared in both NFSU games aren't available to US residents which also has an interesting wide bodykit in Underground 2 *Don't remember if Underground 1 had it* because of it being based off the WRC wide bodykit. Honestly the 206's vapor wide bodykit is the only bodykit I know that is based off a real wide bodykit. Just thinking about it, I think NFS should go back to WRC racing in the next NFS game like V-Rally 3 or something.Still should have used them or at least the wrx
Funny that a game that is based on illegal street racing would worry about whether the car was legally available
I would prefer the gc chassis wrxs to be featured anyway

I don't remember another person doing it that I haven't said this wasn't a wishlist. There is a wishlist thread for NFS.^ So it's okay when the other guy does it but when I do it it's suddenly off-limits?
Not if you have a lot of disposable income and know exactly what you are doing. The r34 was in the game and still isn't legal in the US
Haha indeedNot if you have a lot of disposable income and know exactly what you are doing.
I spotted this in the latest railer. Acura RSX, perhaps?

Rubber banding will come into play.I wonder how performance balancing will work now that we know top end supercars like the Aventador are in. Will the fast cars be nerfed or will mods for low end cars be OP? I'm hoping it's the latter.
I can imagine BMW fans going crazy to buy this game if it completes the M3 series. Also forgot to mention the E92 M3, we are just one generation away from having every M3 in the game now

My thinking is that low end cars could likely have better upgrades (better acceleration/handling boost from upgrades) compared to Supercars, they did the same with Most Wanted (2005) where a fully tuned Punto can hit almost 200MPH with all the upgrades. Would make sense since it would be easier to get more power into a Nissan 240SX than it would in a Lamborghini Aventador,I wonder how performance balancing will work now that we know top end supercars like the Aventador are in. Will the fast cars be nerfed or will mods for low end cars be OP? I'm hoping it's the latter.
You forgot to mention the Murcielago SV. The pics are in the NFS 2015 thread. Page 87.Cars from the latest trailer added to the list.
