The only issue playing this game I've found is reliably finding some cops for a pursuit! Has anyone found a surefire way of getting a chase started?
There only seems to be like 5 cops in the game!

They are always around the area below royal park. And the south port has a good amount that spawn.

They have a bunch of scripted spawn sites. Once you figure those out, they're easier to find.

Try going around the South Port area, it is literally littered with police.

South Port is a police hotbed, since the department's HQ is located there.
 
Yep, head to the southern island and you should be able to find a cop or two in no more than five minutes of driving around. I tend to go to the area near the plant, with the three-way intersection that dips along the main road.
 
What would you guys say are the best three cars to start the game with? I just started playing and I chose the BRZ and I'm trying to work my way up to buy the Supra as a second car. What do you think?

Fully tuned all the cars are quite similar in performance so just choose the ones that you like best or the ones that have most customization options.

The best all rounder has got to be the Aventador, but even then the difference is minimal. Would be much cooler to beat Lambos with the old Volvo or Golf Mk I online :D
 
What i beat the entire speed thread in was the golf mark I. With the lightness it has, maxed out it hits 0-60 in under 2 seconds. Its really fast, but it's fwd, so it can't turn too well. Great high speed car though.
 
This is the coolest looking thing in the game.

Nice, it seems they kept the exploding tyre feature from NFS MW 2012. Does it repair automatically or are you stuck with a blown tyre until you get to a garage?

Its like Most Wanted, Carbon, and Undercover. Once your spiked, its game over. Your car can still move faster compared to the three games I mentioned.

It stays until you get it to the garage but your literally screwed if it happens during a pursuit as the car turns into Bambi on ice.

I see, thanks for the replies guys. In MW 2012 there is a reinflatable tyre upgrade that you can use, but it's too OP and essentially renders police chases and spikestrips meaningless.
 
Would be great if they re-introduce all the previous boss cars from NFS (MW 2012 had a similar DLC):

Eddie's R34
Cross' C6 Corvette
Darius' R8
Ryo's Evo X
Movie's Shelby Mustang (or Sesto Elemento if we're sticking with the bad guys cars)

Then have a race with all 5 of them, then all 5 bosses + 5 icons + your crew :drool:
