This really annoys me. They banged on about how in depth the customisation was and then completely ignored it all. I know what they're trying to do but it worries me that the other parts are going to look like crap. :indiff:

Exactly. And they ignored it to show basically the exact same thing we've already seen. If you aren't going to showcase the extent of the customization (which is supposed to be one of the main points of the game) for the sake of showing off yet another Rocket Bunny BRZ, then what's the point? We know nothing more about the customization than we did with just the teasers and all we gained were some awful gameplay camera angles and more overly drifty physics. Surely they could've done better,

So there would be a driftey and a arcade hangling mode?

Not exactly, but he said that it seems that there is too much drifting because of the camera, and said that on normal camera it would look less ridiculous, I just didn't explain correctly what I meant before

This is from the bottom of last page if anyone didn't see

We can remove that crazy camera and its not going to be always drifting, confirmed byhttps://www.facebook.com/TheKyza?fref=nf

Maybe they were pressured for time? If they were to customise every aspect of the BRZ it would take at least five minutes in the garage alone. All the parts are licensed so they probably won't be as bad as you imagined.

Ugh that camera :yuck:

I hope there are multiple camera options.

Can we please get rid of the Burnout physics? If I want to play Burnout, I'll go play Burnout...

You were expecting realistic physics from Need For Speed?

I'd say there will be a mix of good and bad parts. Just like Midnight Club LA had some "custom" created parts to make up for the lack of licensed ones. Some of them looked "good enough" while others looked terrible.

Right now our best guide would be No Limits custom bodykits.

Or they could have left the bodykit off, leaving the remaining parts unlocked to show us what can and can't be changed. I'm not suggesting that they should have showed us every little part of the customization as they wouldn't have had any time but to have everything locked was a bit disappointing for me. I guess the licensed parts shouldn't be too bad though. 👍

And for those whining about included bodykits and no separate fenders/bumpers, video shows that all 4 fenders and front bumper, sideskirts, rear bumper have locks due to bodykit, so I think that bodykits are only presets and we can choose between presets or our own mix of parts.

For example we can add rear canards on the RB V2 kit( 'Rear Canards' selection can be seen in the gameplay video for a brief moment)

And there appears to be 4 options for wheels/tires part, one dot is over the tire, one over the wheels and one over the brakes, but don't know whats the 4th one for, maybe hubs/nuts?

Anyway, thats all I figured out from the video

Now, who is the second guy left-to-right?

1. No idea Tunerguy21 suggested Kei Miura
2. Ken Block
3. Someone from RB or RWB, Nakai maybe
4. Magnus Walker
5. probably Vaughn Gittin

Its either 1 is Nakai and 3 is Kei Miura or the other way around. The hair style on 3 (what you can see of the shilouette at least) looks similar to Miura though.

EDIT: Never mind, reverse it.

Well just watched it a while ago and so far I am impressed with the customization. I really wish they had went a lot slower and showed every thing that can be done to the car in the garage, but maybe I am expecting too much.

Now when it started racing, I was impressed with what I seen as well. The environment looks nice, car sounds pretty good and the physics seem tolerable from what I can tell. However the ultimate thing that will make or break it for me is the collision detection. If it is anything like the Criterion titles, I will be disappointed because that was the thing that put off from every Criterion game I have ever played. I hope we can get footage of some car crashes soon.
Blackbox had the sound sorted out 12 years ago. :P
Agreed. I loved the sounds they used in the 2nd gen titles and if they ever decided to use them again, I would be back into the series in a heartbeat! (Not evening joking)
