You can change the driving physics and the camera angles.

Yes, I know that's what happens when the chase begins. But I'm talking about how overdone they are.
Yeah I don't like it either, it's like the BF Hardline transition for Share Factory (which is just police sirens across the whloe screen)

Pretty much what I expected. Not disappointed, but not impressed either. All I can really say is that the city looks good so far, and there appears to be more customisation than there has been in most recent racing games.

And here comes the confirmation of the first over-expensive supercar in the game. It looks like they went the Carbon route on this.

One thing I noticed. The map is suppose to be nearly twice the size of Rivals. Damn that's huge.
Yes. That's exactly what open-world games need the most right now.

Mostly physics akin to Most Wanted 2005.
I absolutely hated those.

I keep going over the trailer looking for things and there's something that caught my eye:

Why were both the Rocket Bunny V1

AND KM4SH widebodies set as "restricted" and the V2 left open? For demo purposes? They should at least still appear when scrolling. Thoughts?

Just watched the gameplay trailer. A couple of points:

Good
- Graphics (Very photorealistic, beyond expectations here )
- Customization (Depends on how the other parts are, but so far so good. Would like to see more performance tuning)
- Sound (Great as usual)
- Soundtrack (Fits the tone of the game without being too trashy. I like 👍)

Bad
- Customization interface (Not a fan of all the tiny dots, it makes it too easy to miss an option. Bring back Underground style menu please!)
- Handling (They say it can be tuned, but I'm not convinced. It looks like The Crew's central axis handling with ice rear wheels :yuck: For Underground type game with tight streets and avoiding traffic we NEED tight and grippy handling)
- Camera (Again, they say it can be changed. So I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now)
- Cops (Looks to be EVERYWHERE :banghead: I want to explore the city without worrying about being chased dammit!)
- City (Looks a bit drab like Carbon. Needs more color like Bayview in Underground 2. But we haven't seen much so I'll reserve judgement. Also size =/= quality)
- 5 ways to play (Feels too much like they're trying to copy The Crew. And we all know how that game went...)
- Cutscenes (Cringe worthy as ever. When will developers realize racing games don't need stories )

So far the superficial stuff are good. It remains to be seen whether the game around it are worth playing. And still waiting to see whether Drag and Canyon races are included.

Verdict: Cautious Optimism.

There was no gear indicator on the tacho in that trailer, we might not be getting a manual transmission.

Nor was there a proper redline indicated on the tach. There was, however, a couple limiter bashes I caught that an auto option wouldn't allow unless there was wheelspin (which there wasn't at the time).

Let down, what kinda janky ass physics where those? Also, no gear indicator? So it's all auto tranny then...yay...sod that.

Customization was average as hell, I nailed the copy and paste from No Limits didn't I...what kinda lame ass game mode was that? Apparently it was "drift attack" more like "hype attack"...

Sounds, poor, A BRZ does NOT sounds like that, AT ALL, nice synthetic fake sound effects for the engine guyz, good job lololol.

Figured as much, microtransactions on the customization? "restricted"? Ugh...k.

Yeah, i saw this coming, Forza 6 looked absolutely amazing and NFS looked average...typical let down, not bothered though, expected this 100%.

Skip to 2:10. I think they got the sound pretty freaking close. As for micro transactions, we don't know just yet. We'll have to see

Another thing I noticed as the descriptions on two of the wheels, the Watanabes and Meisters.

If you can even read it, it doesn't make much sense. As for the Work Meisters:

Its just a generic wheel description. Both the other sets (Rotiforms and Fifteen52s) had proper descriptions. Perhaps another reason they rushed through it? All the other parts seemed to have been finished but maybe that's not the case for everything. It did say pre-alpha after all.

At above...wut? You think they sound similar? Lets look...best example from trailer is at the 2:06 mark on wards for a little bit:

Then the video you posted at 2:10

1) It's a completely different tone, much higher pitch
2) The exhaust burble is completely non existence at high or medium revs
3) The "throaty" sound of the video just before shifting up is non existence
4) It sounds synthetic, like they just took a very low quality sound and slapped over some crap effects over it.

overall, forza horizon 2/Forza 5 has a much better sound sample of the BRZ because they actually recorded the stock version:

Just my 2 cents, the BRZ in NFS15 sounds...I dunno what that exhaust effect they've put on it but it sounds crap.

I am SO let down at the lack of manual transmission.

After looking again the physics...meh, I'm undecided but overall the game looks wayyyyyyy to drifty again.

And the customization is baron, completely and utterly sub par, they call that a friggin customization video? Aweful and dreadful, plus, we learnt nothing significant either other than it's a night racer drifty always online socal media spam wet cars 24/7 mediocre copy and paste no limtis car list and customization with only auto transmission, average sound assests and the only decent thing being it looked pretty. Sod looking pretty though.

Plus, the game isn't entirely about drifting. And if there is an option to change the physics, there there may be a setting that may make the game "wayyyyyyy too drifty".
