@Ameer67: I bought the PC version for full price and glad I did, but this game is very polarizing, so just because I thoroughly enjoy doesn't mean that you will.

I encountered an interesting bug yesterday: When doing a drag race I was the only contestant. It made it easy to win the event LOL, which also made it easy to complete the daily challenge and get my new decal, but a silly bug nonetheless.
Ah that. That also occurs in some races especially the one with Magnus.

Please hopefully this is not the last update....I'll be disappointed if this is true. :nervous:

It's not, this guy just misunderstood video's author, I think.

Btw, looks like still no new cars.
Yeah I was about to edit my post because I just read the sub reddit that this is the "latest" update not the last. Phew for a second I thought Ben and GG already gave up on us. :D

I knew it's just going to be MP improvements. No new content. Somehow this is like Most Wanted 2012 except we got the Terminal Velocity DLC where a airport is added to Fairhaven.

I'm starting to think these free updates are the ones holding them back from adding new cars, parts, and map expansion. I'll be willing to pay $10-20 dollars for just new cars and map expansion.

As for the Living Games update, it's a meh for me. Not a fan of MP updates but the Prestige Mode will keep me busy because I'll be able to replay the story mode races but even harder. (I'm talking to you Component Parts. We'll meet again.)

*inb4 reddit/YT comments saying no new cars, parts, or map expansion and will say NFS is no longer good, NFS died, I hate this update, etc.

I was expecting some new content with "biggest update in terms of features" claim. Turned out to be more gameplay features than content features. Speedlists are a nice touch; won't be on the same level of variety as Most Wanted 2012 but it will add to longevity at least.

I've had the game for less than a fortnight, finished it, have a full garage and storage (10 cars) all maxed and 700k monies. That is just two weeks,(point is the game lacks content or something to keep you occupied generally speaking because there's only so many times you can take a photo of rain with **** lighting and a car in the back ground of it somewhere). the multiplayer system in terms of rankings will make it more competitively enjoyable but other than that the rest of the updates seem pretty poor in effort. Very half assed ideas.

For what was supposed to be ''the biggest update for NFS'', it's pretty small.

Did they really say that? That's hilarious. There is barely any new content, it's mostly old content that you can now run through with harder AI and/or a different UI. Even the multiplayer speed lists are made up of existing races!

These updates to the mutiplayer are just coming way, way too late. Just might take a quick break from DiRT Rally and check it out. The new trophies sound more like a chore than fun too.

Would've been all over it if the update brought us new areas to explore as well cars.

This may not be the update Ben was referring to. When he said that it seemed as though the clues were pointing to a May update. Who knows

Really glad to see a proper redline on the tach.

Also, I don't think it should be ignored that the update comes with more bug fixes and improvements. Gripe about what the game should or shouldn't have had from the get-go, or what the update doesn't have, but the support continues to be there, and they are steadily improving the game.

I really wonder why everybody always complains about the lack of cars in any update that comes, When the '17 GT-R was added i played the game two days to do the daily challenges and got bored with it.

New cars would be cool, But what's the point if there is nothing too do?

Update sounds cool to me, Finally a good reason to play the game again! :)

Updates out tomorrow for anybody who hasn't seen the news, I can't say I'm overly impressed this latest (last?) update sounds like a last ditch attempt to put the finishing touches on the game for how it was meant to be when it first came out, Where are my damn neons !!!

Well here's hoping that there will be a big May update 👍

Who here thinks that this idea I posted on Reddit would be better than what we're getting tomorrow?

The story in NFS 15 isn't good but this idea sounds pretty interesting as not only would we learn more about Morohoshi, like maybe learning more about his relationship with the Yakuza and also a bit of a backstory but we'll also learn about a issue that's actually happening right now in real life, car culture dying in Japan which you'll be told by Morohoshi about it.

The plot here is that car culture is dying in Japan and in order to bring it back to its glory days, you must travel to Japan and become an inspiring street racer by doing races. As you progress through the story, you'll gain fame and you'll also inspire more and more people.

For new cars, they should bring in the R33, Honda CR-X, and the Nissan 370Z.

I got this game today on PS4 and after an hour of gameplay I have just 1 question. How do I skip the damn cutscenes?

Major story scenes you can't skip. However smaller scenes you can.

Basically mash that X button in the beginning of the scene and hope that you are prompted on screen to skip it. Works most of the time.

Also, anyone know how I can take the in-game screenshots and post em here, instead of doing a damn screenshot, of a screenshot.

(PS4)

^^^ I think that would be a fine idea. However my daily visit to Speedhunters seems to indicate that car culture is alive and well in Japan. I could be wrong of course, but if anything I feel like it's dying in the USA

How is car culture dying in the US?
