Nevermind, this update is really quite enjoyable. Grinding for gold will be frustrating but it will provide me something to do on the game.

64% off on PSN until May 5. I've been skeptical about getting this game even in previous sales, but at this price I figured it was worth a try. Also sounds like the game has been updated and improved significantly since the original release?

I really hope the handling is better - or more suited to my taste in arcade racers - than that of The Crew.

If you don't like The Crew's handling, then you won't find much enjoyment here.

It's ok to start, then you start noticing annoyances such as being magnetised towards walls as you exit drifts and such nonsense. Totally ruined it for me in the end.

I didn't notice problems until getting into drift events and trying to tune the handling towards drifting. That's when I started noticing some dodgy mechanics.

First time participating in a speedlist and I finish in first!

How were you able to get in 1st with a F132 as your opponent? I'm surprised. :(:D
Crappy driver and or skill. I recall the guy driving the F132 trying to knock out everyone in the speedlist and great irresponsibility comes great punishment for those who dare to ruin the race for everyone.

Also when he wasn't acting like a jackass, for one race, I was still able to catch up with him thanks to my fast cornering skills.

The guy with the F132 thinks that this is NFS Rivals where you can take down rivals. So did he rage quit when he placed 2nd only? And it seems to me that the F132 driver was a kid.

Is it just me or is the Prestige events really difficult? I barely manage to earn bronze but the silver and gold is a whole 'nother story...

I had my F132 for a while. Then I realized it sucked no matter how much I tried to master its' steering.

It's great for Drag Racing though.
I still have my F132, though I barely use it. The car's handling usually isn't too hard to get use to unless you always tune your cars for drifting.

Just reading that reminds me of the X2010s from Gran Turismo since both the F132 and the X2010 are considered F1 cars and are really fast, where someone will join a lobby, get out a X2010, get on the track and literally be murdering everyone until the host decides to kick him. They usually appear in free run / cruise / drag racing lobbies *I think the drag race lobbies get these freaks more often* since almost all of the time, the host didn't set any restrictions to HP or PP.

So basically....the F132 is the Red Bull X equivalent. Yeah I get that a lot. I usually bring a pink X2010 and troll the 🤬 out of someone who trolls me and at the end they get angry at me for what I'm doing to the guy who trolled me first. :boggled::boggled::D

Yup. That's the whole purpose. It's basically going to force you to tune your car accordingly to get the best time.

Ive been having trouble getting into a speed list events. I just keep waiting in the garage and when I leave it
says event is about to start do you want to join. I select yes and then I just wait and wait. Any tips?

All the Prestige races aren't too bad once you know the route and take the corners as fast as possible. It's the drift events that are a nightmare.

Going through now to do them all again. (Not going for gold but completion).

1st stage - 2nd attempt silver.
2nd stage- 1st attempt bronze.
3rd stage- 2nd attempt bronze.
4th stage - 1st attempt bronze.
Estimated time 15 minutes
5th stage -

Huracan't. Max drift.

If you're so high and mighty about winning the drift events, why not post a video of you doing it? Show me what I'm doing wrong.

Not high and mighty at all man, more than happy to help. Want me to link a video here or link you to my YouTube?.

Getting silver is possible with the Carrera RSR. But for the sake of just completing the events, any car can do. Heck, even my 1996 MX-5 got bronze.

Just take out the stupid physics, and it's slightly more feasible.
