Gameplay is more important than looks anyway, as long as the looks aren't horrible.
Hopefully they'll release a demo somewhere in July or August.

In some aspects they've given a more real feel than PD anyway in terms of looks, but of course in others they're way off.

Hmm, I don't know, have you ever seen the background at Eiger, or the landscape around Fuji? Incredibly detailed and photo realistic. Their whole cars getting dirty thing, and especially their lighting/shadow effects seem above par.👍

You're talking about the looks of the game. Let me remind you that these guy made GTR series and GTlegends, which weren't bad looking games.

Now, their (= Slightly mad Studios) brand new race sim that hasn't been released yet due to the fact that 10Tacle went banckrupt and they hold the licenses of the game i.e. project Ferrari. This game has estonishing graphics (looks). There is a thread about this game but I'm going to put the screenshots of project Ferrari here, so you can compare them with GT5p's screenshot. And then I'm going to put some screenshots of SHIFT and GT5p in this post, so you can compare them aswell.

I just want to show that SHIFT doesn't look bad, I think the graphics are on par with GT5p, different (lighting ect...) but on par.

Look at the other screenshots, top-notch graphics and they overall look absolutely superb, and I reckon that's the same with this one.

Anyway, I predict a preview coming soon. The last one was in March, and E3's coming up so the will most likely be one. And maybe they'll reveal more information, like a car and track list, and some new screenshots. Probably a new trailer as well.

This game just looks fantastic in every respect, I don't think I've ever been so excited about a NFS game. I said on the first page it will be hard to believe this will be realistic but that was a stupid comment.

I'm skeptical about those screenshots and what we'll see on our tv's from our respective consoles. The one thing that makes me question the screenshots is the lack of any jaggies in the pictures. So unless they were taken from one hell of a computer thats running the game at 16xFSAA, it wouldn't surprise me to hear they have been touched up in some way.

In saying that, the game is looking good and will probably be one to pick up provided we don't see GT5 this year

Shift screenshots are untouched and from gameplay. No Photoshop and no some Photomode or anything similar ;-)

It isn't. That picture has been around long before even Undercover was announced. It's quite a bit old.

This is an endless discussion but IMO it's a real Porsche taken at the 'ring during the 24h and not a SHIFT screenshot.

As you can see, the 24h were at the end of may last year. That photo of that Porsche was taken on the 25th of may last year at 6.43 am (I believe it is am because it was taken in Germany and we don't use am and pm in Europe.

Yeah, it has been good lately getting to see a screen or two every fews days but leading into E3 things have dried up. Cant wait for E3 with all the games im looking forward to releasing from shift onwards
