Need for Speed Heat Full Car List Revealed

Basically Payback and 2015's list with a good number of additions. Looking forward to the testarosa and countach, but like others have said a few more muscle and work-a-day classics like a couple of elder corvettes (C1 - C4), 80's Camaro and the fabled escorts would be nice. Saying that what we've got is still excellent.

The exclusivity derives from toyota getting their undies in a twist about boy racing and toyotas want of a more precious, high handed image. GT is seen as the more sedate and sensible driving game while nfs is taken to be rebelious and wreckless, not what toyota wants to promote. It's a very strange turn tbh as for long enough they were happy to be seen as part of the youth, underground scene with the supra being a rival to the skyline. Toyota now want to get down with the woke soy boys (and girls) with their prius'. They are effectively grand fathering the Supra into a more to-do cruiser than the sports gt it once was imo.

@mustafur They've allowed some of their cars into Forza 7 although most are nascars and off roaders
The Toyotas in Horizon 4 are not part of the Toyota License.

The Civic was literally one of the starter cars in Underground. And then there was a S2000. One of the major characters in Underground drove a Civic and one of plot turning points involved her Civic :odd:
Oh yeah. But wasn't one Honda absent from one of the UG games?

FXXK Evo and the Testarossa!!!!!!

Man that is bloody awesome but still im going to wait until I see the game before I buy.

Ooooh FXX-K Evo in the list  guess I'm getting this one on release day. I've played every nfs game that came out since Hot Pursuit 2, might as well keep the tally going :sly::D

There too many variant cars, I thought they were going to squeeze the variants into one base model. I remember M4 GTS in Payback could swap parts to become 2014 M4.

Copy paste the variant cars that I've counted in the general discussion thread:
- 2 BMW i8 (Coupe and Roadster)
- 3 BMW M4 (Coupe, Convertible and GTS)
- 2 Chevy C7 (Grand Sport and ZR1)
- 2 Ferrari 458 (Coupe and Spyder)
- 2 Ferrari 488 (Coupe and Pista)
- 2 Ferrari LaFerrari (FXX-K Evo and Standard)
- 2 Jaguar F-Type (Coupe and Convertible)
- 4 Lamborghini Huracan (Coupe, Roadster, Performante Coupe and Performante Roadster)
- 4 Lamborghini Aventador (S Coupe, S Roadster, SVJ Coupe and SVJ Roadster)
- 3 Mclaren 570S (Coupe, Spider and the high spec 600LT)
- 3 Mercedes AMG GT (GT, GTS Roadster and GT R)
- 2 Nissan 370z (Nismo and 50th Anniversary)
- 2 Nissan GT-R R35 (Standard and Nismo)
- 2 Porsche Cayman (GT4 and 718 GTS)
- 7 Porsche 911 (991) (GT3 RS, GT2 RS, GTS, GTS Cabriolet, Targa 4 GTS, Turbo S and Turbo S Cabriolet)

Project Cars 2 and Asseto Corsa.

As well as games like Initial D and Wangan Midnight series.

Those games are released before GT Sport though, the exclusivity probably inactive at that time. ACC do have a Lexus GT3 in it but that is likely be part of the Blancpain license like the Yaris WRC for WRC 8.

Not too sure how arcade machine games licensing work, it might run on a separate rules or GT did a Toyota exclusivity on all consoles and PC. I remember Forza has exclusivity for Ferrari 458 back in Xbox 360, TDU 2 on Xbox 360 has the Ferrari 458 replaced by a Spyker while PC and PS3 gets the Ferrari 458.

This car list pretty much confirms that the game is mostly a Speedhunters vanity project.
Hardly a thing given EA own speedhunters. practically all NFS games since shift and prostreet were a speedhunters vanity project.

Onto another topic. I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned

Testarosa in a street racer

What games?

If you count mobile games, Assoluto Racing is the only other game which features Toyota road cars alongside GT Sport (and the developer is Japanese)

*Flips desk angrily at the Honda Civic Type R being a FK2 rather than the FK8*

:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Kinda sucks there’s no FK8 Civic. I prefer how the FK8 looks to the FK2, it just looks more like a sports car rather than a normal Civic with a massive wing slapped on the boot

Ghost have confirmed DLC car packs post-launch, I would be very surprised if the FK8 doesn't feature in one of the packs.

Including Project Cars 2?

Less than a month isn't that long.

They did licensed the cars more than a year before release, I don't think the game got any new manufacturer 6 months before release. I am one of the backers in pCARS 2, the last few brands that pop up in backer build was Porsche and Ferrari if I remember correctly.

While i agree that some of the choices are anooying (i8 roadster/coupe for example). i personally wouldn't group a lot of those as duplicates considering the differences in spec or even generation. The cars that i would say shouldn't be regarded as dupes would be:
Ferrari La Ferrari / FXXK Evo as ones a road legal hypercar and the other is a trackday monster with significant changes
Lamborghini Hurracan/Aventadors. while i agree that they should be one varient with roof options, there is a significant jump between the base and the upper model with things like 4 wheel steering, active areodynamics and more
Mercedes AMG GTR for the same reasons as the Lambos
Porsche Caymans. This is the one i really disagree with as the GT4 is a 981 Cayman and the GTS is a 718 Cayman so completely different models along with things like different engines (flat 6 for the GT4 vs flat 4 for the GTS)
Porsche 911, take the GT3RS and GT2RS out and then collate the others into a GTS and a Turbo S and that would be great.

I would agree about the difference in each variant if it is a sim game like Assetto Corsa but NFS physics isn’t that detailed and the aero, engine and 4 wheel steering difference will be minimal to none.

Last I tried, the 911 GT3 RS and 911 Carrera S handles the same the minute you start installing performance parts into it. Which is why I find them to be duplicates made for padding.

I thought this game was worth preordering when I saw the exhaust sound tuning option...

But after seeing they put the 🤬 blasphemy on wheels in the game, namely the 2017 Ford GT, and did not include the 2005 Ford GT, I've suddenly changed my mind.

A legend is left in the dust while its less-endowed offspring rises in popularity. This truly saddens me.

Gimme my 🤬 V8 back, and why is there no LFA?!? Or ANY Lexus whatsoever?

I think it has to do with Toyota's stupid decision to not be included in racing games. Think Forza and NFS were the first to get the car brand removed from it's catalogue

No 2005 Ford gt a bit strange. Some brands are lacking a bit. Why so many cars of the same models like lambos and Porsche. But the cars they have choised thats not what i am afraid about. Its the physics if they don’t get it right or at least better than in payback. Everything will be ruined

Far to many Exotics, If you take out all them out, it's a pretty poor list. Alot of the well known and loved cars from past games are missing.
