Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2005) Who Still Plays?

I sure hope so, i'd be so much better than replacing cars. Only things I wonder is how many cars can be added to the game and what games will it cover? I know NFS Toolkit will cover EAGL games (Whatever EAGL means), but I am not sure about Global-Ed.
EAGL is the game engine used from Hot Pursuit 2 to Undercover. Global-Ed is supposed to be a part of Toolkit (although it won't be available on the first version) if I'm not mistaken. As for the amount of cars being added, I've heard the number 127 being thrown around, although I don't recall the reason why that's the case.

I just want to be able to modify cars that normally can't be modified such as the numerous traffic cars and the Corvette C6R. That vltedit method is way too complicated for me and my complete lack of modding skills.
Just imagine a junkman pickup truck.

You can already add Junkman parts to most cars by default. They're just stat multipliers and not actual performance parts.

That's what I thought.

NFS360 said somewhere it won't be in the first release of NFS Toolkit. Who knows when it will come.

It would have to have a limit because I imagine load times would be impacted by how many cars you add to the game.

From what I've heard, it's something to do with the way the game is coded. I don't remember what the significance of 127 is so you'll have to ask someone else about that.

For over a decade, no one really knew apart from the fact he used a trainer and the person that made the videos wouldn't share it for some reason. (Which is selfish if you ask me) That is, until someone named osdever finally uploaded it for others to use.

Sadly it requires VLT Edit, but hey, at least it's available now! It looks like a lot of fun, but I haven't tried it yet though.

I really can't wait to use it when NFS Toolkit comes out, because then we won't have to deal with those annoying collision boxes getting in the way all the time.

Lmfaooo imagine someone recording the final race with Razor and their using the helicopter against him :lol::lol::lol:

I am not sure if that is possible or not. I know part of the process to using the helicopter is to get into a pursuit with it and whether or not it can still be used after the pursuit is over is not clear. Someone should give it a shot!

I was thinking the other day, since nfsu360 did this:

Imagine how much fun it'd be to fly that thing around on Nevada Highway. Though Most Wanted is FAR from my favorite NFS title, that would be heavenly!

You could use the debug camera from extra options

I didn't even know MW had that, I was only aware of Carbon having it. Though that is cool, I still think i'd have a blast flying that helicopter around.

Every EAGL has a debug camera if I'm not mistaken. I don't know if every version of Extra Options has it at the moment.

If you use T-Search and do some easy hex editing, you can make these cars available for customizing. However they are somewhat limited in customization options.

Most of the traffic cars are limited to only being able to change the color and the wheels, everything else doesn't work and performance crashes the game. However two of them, one being the police helicopter, have the options to change the window tint. It's worth noting changing the color doesn't actually change it, rather it makes a minor change to the stock color at best until you get to the special paints, then it's pretty dramatic especially with the pearl paints, though not quite the same as what you'd expect from a normal car. It's worth noting when in the wheel selection screen you have to press the button to change the size in order to actually view them on your car.

The C6-R however has more to offer though. Going off memory, I think it has no body parts available, but it has all the performance except the supercharger (Which crashes the game upon viewing), don't know about junkman parts though. Visuals I think are all available for the car.

Been a while since I have played the game though so I could missing somethings and I don't really care to play it at this time.

Yes. The chrome and matte paints do however make dramatic changes to the cars shine though. I saw a video years ago saying some traffic cars will be fully paintable in the community patch 1.4. Who knows when that will happen....

By the way JeepXJFreak, in case you didn't know it's worth noting you can drive the pick up truck along with a few other traffic cars and even some police cars in the challenge series. (I forget which challenges though)

So, I got bored and decided to make the pizza delivery vehicle into a properly functioning and upgradeable car. Gave it Clio performance parts, made it compatible with junkman parts, and gave it a custom frontend entry.

Interesting thing worth noting is that the playable versions of the pizza car and taxi have their own unique (although identical) models, meaning that you could replace one without replacing the other.

Recently got back into this game yet again. This game is like wine; it just gets better as the years go on. :)

You know, I am not sure if these highways were meant to be something originally or if they are simply just for decoration, but it would be neat to model these highways and make them accessible in the game using NFS Toolkit. (whenever it comes out that is) Modeling them I think would be the easy part, dealing with the existing collision and ai pathing however I think would be the hard part.

Recently I began messing about with vlt-ed for this game. And it's got me wondering now; is it possible to change the police siren sound? I had a look through the sound files, and noticed that it's in an audio format that I've never seen before; it's a .csi file. Upon researching the format type on Google, I could not find anything. It would definitely be nice to be able to get rid of those stock generic siren sounds.

That's not the actual sound file for the sirens. That controls something else, although I'm not entirely sure what.

So today I got into modifying textures using TexEd. I'm really surprised at just how easy it is. I've mostly been repainting the traffic cars to newer colors. It's honestly sort of refreshing to see a blue minivan driving around instead of the usual red one.

The newest version (1.1) of Tex-Ed just released recently so it's a bit easier to swap textures and you can do now different sizes for certain ones.
