Most (if not all) F2P games with in-app purchases are designed to get you to pay more. That's how they make money. I have no idea why so many of you are condemning a game that works the way it should. The 'deepest circle of hell is reserved for EA Games?' Get over yourself, it's a bunch of moving pixels on your mobile phone.

We are aware that many F2P games encourage micro-transactions, but I am sure most of us would have preferred to pay an upfront fee for the game and not be bombarded with IAPs. The previous NFS mobile games followed that model (although I am not sure about the extent of IAPs they had, but it couldn't be as bad as Real Racing 3), but the moment they make a mobile exclusive they eschew it.

I would have loved for a fully-featured Need for Speed game on the Android, but as soon as I saw it was F2P, I stopped paying attention. Do I like games riddled with microtransactions, "encouraging" you to pay to progress through the game? No! Are they the worst thing to happen to the world? No.

Most Wanted was a paid game and still included microtransactions.

Don't get me wrong, F2P models have their purpose and are a brilliant idea from a business perspective (they even generate money from free-loaders through advertising revenue), but it is the consumers who are losing out on functionality without having to break the bank. But of course, cash rules everything.

Was a tongue in cheek quote from pirates of the Caribbean I changed to have EA, intended to be funny, get over yourself.

Heres a peek on customization. Looks promising though but I'm not sure how to pay it though because the language is different.

The customization looks promising, and hopefully this model and focus will transfer to the next console game of the NFS series.

Until then, I'll laugh at Porsche who gave exclusive licensing rights of their cars... For a mobile game.

I can't believe that the Dutch get it now, the American's get it in Spring and the rest of us have to wait til Fall/Winter til we get to play it!

Does Windows Phone even have any decent racing games at the moment?

Pretty limited. I have a WP, there's Asphalt 8 for beginners, the better A7 is there, somehow A6 is not there but A5 does. The only Real Racing game in there is RR2. Some NFS titles.. There are more but the famed ones aren't many.

There's a game on the app store that feels similar to No Limits according to someone who has played both.

Fast & Furious Legacy

I've tried Fast And Furious: Legacy. First of all, it isn't a driving game (tap-to-steer mechanics to switch lanes, drag racing and a confusing drift mode) and most visual customisation requires a lot of the premium currency (i.e. heavily lures you into making an in-app purchase). Other than that, it's okay. The graphics are awesome for a mobile game.

It's starting to make sense now - Need For Speed doesn't have microtransactions or paid DLC because No Limits is going to be plagued with in-app purchases! 💡

Also here is the song from the trailer (you really don't want to hear the one with vocals)

Theres not much MT in No Limits for now. The visual/performance parts can only be bought with in game rep points and cash.

Kind of expected this to resurface as 'the mobile version', if you like. Not the same game as the main console release, but sharing similar core features...

This song is cancer
