I can't wait to have Marie shoved down my face in NFSP5: Golden.

Here's the trailer
Nope, the one I posted was better.Isn't HP 2010 enough for you to warrant a good HP1/2 remake?
Also there was an old Chevy pickup, looks like a '65(?) in the trailer but unknown if it's a drivable vehicle.
To put it another way, physics always matter in every kind of racing game, because the physics are the gameplay, the driving, the very essence of how it plays. To use the term "physics" doesn't only refer to realistic physics. 👍Agree with you on that tho!
We did that with NFS2015, didn't turn out to well when we actually got it in our hands. If some of the people are disappointed in the general theme of the game, then so be it. That's understandable.
But to say it's trash (or going to be trash) or that it's a step backwards for the franchise... damn, at least let E3 and a gameplay trailer get here first

They've all but earned the reputation, to be honest. It's a little premature, but its still their fault.
Saying that solid poop is better than diarrhea isn't reason enough for me to change my view on it, as well as the fact that it tried to return to its roots as well. The game left a sour taste with many, including me. So I say until they actually release it and we see a difference, I'll likely stick to the opinion I have of them.NFS 2015 was imperfect. This is true.
But to be fair, that game was leaps and bounds ahead of Rivals. It was more ambitious and it attempted to return to its Underground roots. That cannot be denied.

Dude, you're not supposed to eat it!
My biggest question: was that voiceover Idris Elba?!
And that's your opinion of it, so who am I to say you're wrong?Saying that solid poop is better than diarrhea isn't reason enough for me to change my view on it, as well as the fact that it tried to return to its roots as well. The problem is that their games sound good on paper, but when it comes to us actually getting it, the ideas that where put forward are so half-assed. So until they actually release something worth while, my judgement on them is very harsh. Either way, if its better, than all that's going to happen is that I'll be surprised, rather than let down for pretending it might be different. And that's your opinion of it, so who am I to say you're wrong?
I'd just like to think we could get beyond a teaser trailer THEN see if it's utterly crap, you know
I don't know how the game's going to turn out, but what I do know is that these developers sure did release a pretty bad game immediately before this one. I'd like to think that my view is reflected onto them, rather than this exact title.
They got rushed by giving them an extra year? Odd way to rush someone lol. Usual development time for these games have been one year.I'm not entirely convinced it's Ghost that's to blame for NFS2015's short comings. EA has been known to rush their developers out the door with half baked titles.
I feel like for what Ghost truly wanted NFS2015 to turn out like, yes it may have been rushed. They got rushed by giving them an extra year? Odd way to rush someone lol. Usual development time for these games have been one year.
I also don't see whats wrong with being extremely cautious, considering how half-assed the vanilla game was, features introduced after the game released followed the same suit.I feel like for what Ghost truly wanted NFS2015 to turn out like, yes it may have been rushed.
Off topic though. All I'm saying is let's find out more about the game down the road, then judge. I don't see what's wrong with that.
It's evident we're working with two different thought patterns here.I also don't see whats wrong with being extremely cautious, considering how half-assed the vanilla game was, features introduced after the game released followed the same suit.
I don't think it was rushed, at all. I think they just made a bad game. So until they make a good game, that's my view on them. Harsh? Maybe? But so is spending full price on a game that bad.
And this game looks nothing like the one before it. No surprise there.
Wasn't NFS 2015 supposed to be a reboot for the series? Yes, that game definitely had problems, but why throw the baby out with the bath water and abandon it instead of expanding upon its concept and fixing the issues with that game? There was so much room for improvement.
This is the problem I have with NFS. It doesn't know what it wants to be. After Hot Pursuit 2, things stopped being consistent. We've gone from being about escaping cops in supercars to customization and street culture to professional race car driving and back again. This is exactly why this series' fanbase is so split up and demands different things. I don't mind the action packed style that Payback has; it was done before with The Run. I just want NFS to stop having an identity crisis and find its audience.
I can't get excited because I don't know what to expect from this game. Not to mention, there's still the very important issue regarding the physics.
I'll give them credit for at least not doing live action cutscenes again.
Agreed, I just want a new Hot Pursuit game because I absolutely love what Criterion did with the sequel. Get in a supercar, choose an official paint scheme and evade cops like hell...
