Need for Speed: Rivals

From GS or EA? I never gave out an email, and EA doesn't have a way to tell I got the game. I haven't played it, nor do I have a PSN.

Normally from EA if you bought it from EA. GS normally gives you a code inside the game box itself, or it would be on the new receipt, but recently GS is doing email verification and probably would send the code there.

My question is: will Overwatch only be available for Android/iOS devices, or also on the NFS website? Cause I remember reading somewhere that the app will be on the web aswell, so I guess they mean the website. If not, how the hell will people, including myself, that don't have smartphones or tablets unlock the GT MC?

I'm sure you can run the app through the Google chrome browser.
 
any one getting a ps4 you can download the update on a flash drive know to get ready for launch.

no problem. i'll be trading in my ps3. nothing other then gt6 worth getting for me. I would love to get it but sadly not a ps4 game. looks like nfs rivals and knack

I'm not getting the PS4 at launch so I'll be sticking to NFS Rivals and GT6 on PS3 for some time until I eventually have the money to get a PS4.

if mine was not payed off I would do the same but its payed in full. really wanted gt6 but 1 console for 1 game waste of money for me

Pre-order stuff code, Normally in side the case. If it's not there then it should be on the receipt if not then you should call them up and get it.

I got my game at GameStop same deal no bonus code not in the case or on the receipt GameStop are trying fix this.
 
I called my GameStop, they said no code was given because the system isn't out yet. Keep your receipt and contact your store on the 15th and they will print you out a code.
No worries, just a day left!
 
Maybe I'm not looking hard enough but is there a proper, detailed review out for this game yet? Or is it embargoed?

I only ask because me and the GF adored Hot Pursuit (2010) but not Most Wanted (2012) (MP was a bit crap), so we're a bit hesitant to buy Rivals.

So I was searching for new videos of the game, came across a lot of videos showing the cop career and gameplay. But I saw a thing that's very interesting. In the red square, is that an F1 LM next to the Cayman S? Cause I didn't find any other similar car that's been confirmed. Here's the video, it can be found at around 0:20-0:21.: .

EDIT: The F1 LM is confirmed! How? Well, if you go to the NFS website Cars section and go to a cars page, the link will be for instance http://www.needforspeed.com/cars/rivals/ford-gt?sort=manufacturer. But, if you change the link to, let's say, http://www.needforspeed.com/cars/rivals/mclaren-f1-lm?sort=manufacturer, you go to a page that says "Access Denied". Now this only happens if you type in a car that's in the game, but not yet on the website, for cars not in the game it doesn't work, it just takes you back to the Cars section. So I think this is enough proof to confirm the F1 LM :)

*Review in process*..im tired as hell what a hectic day today...but finally got my ps4 and nfs rivals played the game did the tutorials..and all i can say for now its the graphics are mind-blowing.

Happy you got the system! I should have mind later today, it's coming from Amazon. Hopefully I have no problems since I hear there are some defective units out there.

All you need to know about NFS Rivals.
Cars
Need For Speed Rivals has a car list of 52 cars in total made up of 47 cars available to the player, 24 cops cars and 23 racer cars, and 5 traffic cars.

Each cop car has 3 different variants:
  • Patrol versions have Acceleration and Durability upgrades applied
  • Enforcer versions have Strength and Durability (higher level than Patrol) upgrades applied
  • Undercover versions have the Control upgrade applied.
Racers have the ability to upgrade their vehicle in contract to how each cop variant has a specific, unchangeable set already installed.
There are 5 different types of upgrades that can be purchased each consisting of 5 different level:
  • Top Speed - Increases your vehicle's top speed.
  • Acceleration - Increases your vehicle's acceleration.
  • Control - Improves your vehicle's ability to corner
  • Strength - Improves your vehicle's strength, or amont of damage delivered, when hitting other players
  • Durability - Increases the amount of damage that your vehicle can take.
You'll get the chance to visually personalize your currently selected vehicle by heading to Car Personalization and previewing or applying any of the following options:
Note that only Racer vehicles can be personalized with most options, with the exception of Licence Plates, which can be changed for both Cops and Racers.
  • Custom Paint -Use the color wheel to choose from a number of pre-set paint colors and set your paint-material to Gloss, Metallic, Satin or Matte.
  • Paint Rims - Pick a rim-color from a selection of pre-set colors.
  • Stripes - A large number of different stripes can be customized by color and put onto vehicles, with the exception of all Ferraris.
  • Decals - A large number of different decals can be customized by color and put onto vehicles, with the exception of all Ferraris.
  • Wraps and Liveries - You'll have at least 3 individual-race liveries and one full-body wrap, which includes pre-set rim color as well, that can be applied to each car.
    • Note that Stripes and Decals cannot be added to liveries and Custom Paint, Stripes, Decals, and Custom Rim color cannot be applied to Full body wraps.
  • License Plate - You'll be able to set your licence plate background from pre-made selections and change your license plate text.
If your vehicle gets dinged and damaged, you can drive through a Body Shop to fully repair your car, no matter how battered, bruised, and beat-up it may be.

All vehicles have 2 empty weapons slots that can be filled with weapons purchased from the Pursuit Tech screen in Racer hideouts and Cop command posts.
Weapons, and their respective upgrade levels, must be purchased per car. Each consists of 4 different levels.
  • Weapon availability, and their respective upgrade levels, is based on the level of vehicle you have currently selected.
Common Weapons:
  • Electrostatic Field
  • EMP
Cop-specific Weapons:
  • Roadblock
  • Helicopter
  • Shockwave (directed forward)
  • Spike Strip
Racer-specific Weapons:
  • Shockwave (produces a pulse that hits targets in proximity)
  • Stun Mine
  • Turbo
  • Jammer

World
Need For Speed Rivals is an open world game much like Need For Speed: Most Wanted, with events spread throughout the world that you can start by going to their physical location and pushing LB /L1, depending on platform and you can use the GPS feature in EasyDrive to route to events.

The world is divided into several themed sections as detailed below:

Lucky for all you ps4 players getting a head start on the game. While us PS3 users and pc, xbox etc have to wait.
