Oh why did they have to change the racer's voice in the intro movie? The original sounded properly emotive and angry. This one sounds bored.

Also, how does the whole game mechanics work on last-gen consoles? Is there the whole "destroyed line between singleplayer and multiplayer" that they blathered on about?

I'm making my Christmas wish list now (even though its November lol). So I was wondering if Rivals is worth getting for current gen consoles? I don't think I'll be getting a next gen for a while. Is it fun on current gen? Are there bugs? Should I get it? Or wait until I get a next gen?

Same for me. I couldn't even get out of the garage and play. Every time I picked the first BMW enforcer cop car it would freeze. The first time it froze when I tried to switch to cops from racer!The game froze three times in twenty minutes, I think I'm done for today.

Froze up for me like once as well. Downloaded it by the way.
Is there a set way to quit the game or do you just have to exit it via the XMB?

Anyone noticed that the soundtrack changes depending on what you're doing - whether you're in a race or just cruising around? A tad annoying. Also, the track change button is temperamental.

hi I was wondering if somebody else has this problem.first I purchase the time savers package and it didn't show in the game , so I went into the game to purchase the package and it stated that I had to wait for playstation store.And then I went in to car modifications and it wont let me do any mods .Do I reload the game or what I know I am on line cause I see and play with a lot people ( ie I see their names and hear them talk) thank you for any feedback

I'm curious about a problem I've been having and I was wondering if anyone around here has been experiencing the same.
Today, I got NFS Rivals for PC. I get home, install it, start it up, go through the intro movie and the car selection menu and go out to do the tutorial. I barely drive 50 meters and the game freezes, followed by a DirectX error message. I have updated my drivers and have the latest DirectX, but the problem persists.
Am I the only one having this issue? Is anyone else here, on the PC platform, dealing with the same problem?

I dislike the way the name of the song hangs there even after you change it. I also hate hate HATE the song list.
Same boat it looks wonderful on current gen @ least xbox360 vers. its buggy on all platforms wether its do, the world rendering, online server migration, or just frostbite 3 bugs and glitches. The Engine is Beautiful tho night/day time weather /seasonal particle effects and much improved driving gameplay its definitely worth it IMO. I say go for it I was online whole day yesterday and it only crashed twice didn't lose any speed points although I was on the cop side. It'll probably be patched just like BF4 soon I hope. Oh yeah I switched over to multiplayer player 3/4 way thru the cop campaign, up until that point I was single player only.

#1 Need for Speed Rivals – Direct X Error
The error arises mainly due to outdated drivers or if you don’t have enough VRAM. If both of these aren’t the issue for you, you should try re-installing the directx to resolve the issue.
Oh sorry I over looked your question, If you have you have I-phone you can download @ the app store. if you have android you have to wait as usual. otherwise on your pc/web browser. go to needforspeednetwork.com the the overwatch page. It has a tutorial with the overwatch map, you need to login in to EA Origin with your PSN tag(e-mail/password and also have someone playing on the same console platform from my understanding, wish I could help ya I have psn tag tviper7 but I do not have rivals for PS3 I was hoping they'd @ least be console platform compatible for overwatch(PS3-PS4 or XB360-XB1) since its really just a fun companion app but thats not the case unfortunately.

Already hit the level cap of Rank 50 in Overwatch. Haven't unlocked either the Bentley or the Maserati but you also unlock Overwatch Challenges for the main game. Looks like some are restricted to certain sides and require you complete the first challenge before you unlock the rest. You'll find them in EasyDrive under Autolog Playlists.I know the overwatch and I have been doing the network. I am level 6 in overwatch and I have yet to unlock the bently for cop side. (since that will be my last 3 cars to unlock)

Oh damn i just rented it out today,says i need a hard-drive to install hd pack on so much for having a 4gb 360 for casual gamers,what a pain in the ass even a 50 gb sandisk flashy wont work arghhh.oh well

Hi, im am not a member of this board but i thought i would post the solution for the freeze issue in rivals. a friend told me about it so here's the fix.
Sign out before going to the main menu, go to road and sign in on the road, then return to hideout and change it to public and the issue should be resolved.
I have gotten the issue but im glad i remember what my friend told me to fix it.
My Psn is Guy_9997 Btw. credit goes to Kmb Sck King over at NFS autolog 3 at facebook for the solution.
If the issue is still there, then i don't have clue about that.

I knew the overwatch playlist in game, just was wondering when they would of unlocked. Since I only have 13 more events on cop side to complete then I am off onto the racer campaign.
Edit: I really hate Rapid Response. Since I found out if you are hitting the "breakable" fences and you get a bit of air you get a .5 second penalty for it. Stupid!

I just unlocked the Maserati, It's the 4th overwatch challenge in game.
I just also finished up my golding of the cop side and yet I am at 99.4% with the Bentley yet to unlock.
Edit: I was looking at some things, In game it says **/69 cars. On website it says 72 cars to unlock. So there are an additional 3 cars somewhere?
