Well, I can be the cop in this game. I think that just sold it for me.
I didn't see where it said you could be a cop in this game?
Chase Down
Tear through Tri-City as a cop and bust your fiercest rivals.
Well I'm guessing its like what they did with Most Wanted 5-1-0 then. Well yeah, more yay for the PSP then!!!!Hmm... hope it's not PSP only then.
EAFor the past weeks, the guys over at the Tri-City Car Lot have been receiving a batch of new cars every week. We have just received word from them that starting soon, they will be unveiling a new car every single day! In addition to the screen shots, each car will have a short video to show you just what kind of power it has.
GameSpotWe tried two events in this updated build of the game: a standard highway battle that we've seen several times before and a much more interesting delivery challenge, driving one of the hottest cars in the game, the McLaren F1. Apart from the fun of trying to come to grips with the McLaren's ludicrous amount of power, the mission--which required us to try to get the car from one side of Tri-City to the other--was made all the more intense by the absolutely insane police presence.
Also I'm hoping for the new Camaro. A Ferrari California and I'd love to see a nissan 300zx(z32) because I drive one myself.

EAThis week we've received a nice shipment of high end exotics along with a classic tuner. Next week, make sure to check back as we roll out one new car a day! I hear we've got a certain car coming that you don't want to miss, its BUtiful!
EANeed for Speed has teamed up with a classic muscle automaker to design a special Need for Speed version of their V6 monster. For the first time, Need for Speed enthusiasts can take their passion and display it proudly on their real life vehicle. Unfortunately The Tri-City Gazette cannot reveal the specific car just yet, but details should be emerging very soon. Here are a few details that we have learned which may give the gear heads a few hints. This version of the iconic muscle car was designed by a famous racing team which first dominated back in the mid-60s. With its deep draw hood and 20” anthracite wheels, you’re sure to get noticed while cruising down the street. With its great power-to-weight ratio and superior handling, the car is perfect for anything from drifting or lapping the road course.
The special Need for Speed version first made its debut two weeks ago at the automaker’s BullRun in Texas. One of these special Need for Speed vehicles will be auctioned off for one lucky winner, but those who can’t bid can head to the automaker’s customization center and request the special Need for Speed package. Be sure to stay tuned as more details of the first Need for Speed designed vehicle emerge.
Motor TrendA little known story among fans of all things Ford Mustang is that of famed Ford racer Carroll Shelby and his Terlingua Racing Team. Next month, Shelby Automobiles plans to celebrate Carroll's racing lineage with its first annual Shelby "Bullrun" Challenge set deep in the heart of Texas.
For those not in the know, Shelby's tale first unfolds during the 1960's in the west Texas town of Terlingua when a group of race-winning gear heads were approached Ford to build Mustang racers. The group consisting of Carroll Shelby, Bill Neale, Dave Witts, Tom Tierney and David E. Davis, Jr., happily obliged and ended up creating the now-classic Shelby GT350 and mighty GT500 Mustangs.
Distinguishing the wild bunch -- largely known for their crazy parties and fast paced lifestyles in between races -- was a "Gawdawful" yellow and black logo penned by co-founder Bill Neale. At the center of the badge was a rabbit with one paw raised into the air. With the bunny leading the charge on each team member's hood, the Terlingua's wreaked havoc on the Trans Am Series and quickly became notorious both in paddocks and on the streets.
After multiple wins and scores of bespoke Shelby GT builds, the team seemingly was all but forgotten by the racing world until last year when Shelby rolled out its Terlingua Racing Team V-6 Mustang. According to Shelby officials, the main focus in building the car was to create an affordable, genuine Shelby Mustang capable of competing in all sorts of racing situations with ample power and handling prowess. From drifting and drag racing, to circuit and autocross racing, the Terlingua Racing Team Shelby Mustang aims to have everything covered.
In celebration of the team's past successes and future growth, Shelby Automobiles is hosting the Texas-style Shelby "Bullrun" Challenge at Terlingua this September 25 to 28. For three days, anyone that comes to the festivities in a Shelby vehicle (Mustang, Cobra, etc.), factory Mustang, or Ford GT will be able to participate in the variety of planned drives and events.
"We created the Shelby Terlingua Racing Team so our small group of rebels could have some real fun," stated Carroll Shelby in a press release. "Now, I'm inviting a new generation to return with me for a weekend they'll always remember."
Organizers have mapped out a 350 mile rally run, a 12 mile time trial course, airstrip track and half mile dragstrip for enthusiast wanting to burn a little rubber over the weekend. Other fun to be had at the "Bullrun" includes the mandatory car show, hole-in-one golf tournament, Texas "shootout", chili cook-off contest and autograph session with Carroll Shelby.
If you happen to be in West Texas and also drive a Ford Mustang, we suggest you take a ride over to Terlingua and have some fun with some of the industries most iconic American racers.

It was the CLR that flipped, the CLK-GTR wasn't in GT4 either, the car in GT4 was called the CLK-GTR but it was actually the CLK-LM, slight error in naming.I would definitely like to see the Mercedes-Benz CLR-GTR that was made famous for its aerodynamic loss to cause the crashes in the '99 LeMans and the CLK-GTR, previously shown in Hot Pursuit 2 as a cop car I believe. I love racing the CLK in Gran Turismo 4 and is unique in its own way, even though I have yet to see a game with the CLR.
