I know this sounds stupid but i tuned a clio v6 for fun, and its pretty good. Top speed is around 175-180, lightened it to stage 2. Done a few power upgrades and it has around 360hp i can get exact but that would have to be tommorow. It is great though the corners as i had racing(hard) tires on it. :)

I have thought about trying that car, just sooo many options and I need to save money for the FGT car.

I will have to give it a try as well - maybe. My garage is really starting to fill up with all these cars I am buying. Thank goodness for B-Spec and the Extreme races.

Hey M8, I saw this thread and I'm actually looking for the same kind of car right now. 404hp is my favorite limit for online races at the moment. I noticed you said that you can drive the MR cars decently. Well I purchased the Autobacs ARTA Garaiya '08 car with the intention of racing it in competitive 404hp or less events online. I think this is a great car that you should consider. I'm working on a tune for it as we speak. It's a little pricey at 500,000 cr., but it's a gorgeous car and takes corners at a very good pace. Thought I'd throw this one in the mix. Give it a look in the dealership. It's 1175kg.

Edit: Also wanted to add that with the removable turbo kits, I've used this car now for 404hp and 502hp limits. It gets 495hp at its max.

I will see if I can find it. Do you remember the weight of the car? With everyone being at 400hp, weight becomes and issue.

If memory serves, a bit under 1000kg (perhaps 990kg?)... don't have the game with me at the moment.

Integra DC5. Install Race Modifications, and then throw some Engine/Intake System/Exhaust Parts on for good measure.

Light, easy to handle, snappy through and out of the corners.

(Did I mention it weighs under 1,000kg?)

Created that car actually and it is a great car, but I can actually get better times with my race modded Subaru. Not by much though. Thanks for the Idea.

i think these are the best options with tunes of this forum:

Honda civix type r turbo tuned by rkm motorsport's: 392hp
honda nsx-r 3rd anniversary by rkm motorsport’s: 393hp
mazda atenza 23rs by rkm motorsport’s: 385hp
mazda rx-7 r400 by rkm motorsport’s: 397hp

perhaps i choose the nsx (i have it and it is great) or the rx-7, but i don't have the mazda.

I have loocked at other garages but i haven't found tunes between 380 and 400.
The tunes are in the rkm motorsport's garage, they are fantastic tuners!

yes they are!!

If your group wants to go race car free and avoid ultra-lights, the RX-7's mentioned would do great but I'll throw in a vote for the BMW Z4. It's especially good if you're not all that great because it's very grippy and the handling is predictable. If you're looping the Elise every other lap, it doesn't matter if it's fast on the ones you don't spin.

Basically any of the suggestions in the thread can work and it will come down to your preference and some finer points beyond just a HP limit.
