Looks like a good idea.

I'd bet that this will be first picked up by BMW, who seems to be against supercharging and turbocharging. If not them, then Honda will fly right to it. I can picture they'd figure it out rather quickly, having much experience with the variable valve timing aspect of it.

Overall, a nice idea. Wonder if it works for all engine types, though.
