Cone Slalom
Special Stage Route X
Laps: Section
Car: Scirocco R '10
Target Times:
Gold: 19.000
Silver: 20.500
Bronze: 24.000
Tip: Once you gain enough speed to get switched into 3rd gear, tapping the throttle or holding it stable will give you the speed you need to bring home the gold. Be very careful not to over compensate on the steering if you find yourself swaying back and forth....just let off the gas and gather it back up. Also seems that the cones have a perimeter sensor as I've been disqualified without touching a cone.

Target Times:
Gold: 17.800
Silver: 18.500
Bronze: 22.000
Tip: I'm not a huge fan of trail braking....partly because in real life you would end up shredding the outside front tire in an endurance race, but in the GT world, I'm just not comfortable with it. Plus in GT6, it seems(testing/tuning might disprove this) braking in a straight line as your approach the turn is safer and quicker for me. With this test, braking in a straight line and a slightly late turn in is key. As you approach the sharp left turn, stay as far right as you can while remaining on track. You will see the white line start to go a little crooked, that was my braking point. Slow down enough (keeping the car as straight as you can) to take the turn. This and a steady acceleration on exit will get you the gold.

Consecutive Corners 2
Willow Springs International Raceway: Big Willow
Laps: Section
Car: Shelby GT500 '13
Target Times:
Gold: 18.000
Silver: 19.000
Bronze: 22.000
Tip: This test took me about 6-7 tries to complete. The Shelby is a killer in terms of trying to put the power down at the best of times and conditions. Add that in with trying to do so coming out of a sharp turn while going uphill...I really do hate spinning out! If you can get the beast tamed coming out of the first turn, be careful on the second turn. A late turn in will allow you to hit the apex and accelerate out on this sweeping turn.

Combined Corners 2
Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit
Laps: Section
Car: V12 Vantage '10
Target Times:
Gold: 28.500
Silver: 29.500
Bronze: 34.000
Tip: This car seemed to slide around alot on me during this test. Adjusting the In-Race brake balance would probably help with this, but I soldiered on without changing anything. Precision turn in points and some drifting skills was enough for me to win gold. Is it me, or do sections of this track remind you of the back portion of Nurburgring?

Tip: Oh joy...a rally challenge. There are 2 things in this world I am not....a woman and a rally driver. Don't get me wrong, I love watching them and I think they are awesome/insane, and I've even attempted it once with a not so nice outcome, but I usually don't spend a lot of time on these...I just do enough to get gold, and like a fat kid stealing cake, I'm outta there. Keep the car in as straight as possible scenario over the jumps. Send yourself into a drift on the start of the left hand turn just by letting off the gas and cranking it left. Hold the slide long enough before tapping the brakes and turning to the right. One of the nice things about this challenge is that if you cut the right u-turn short, you won't lose too much time if you cut through the weeds a little bit.
