Thats one guy buddy. Was just saying to the people in the chat about it and they all have the same problem.
Owh well...
Edit: And Ive just watched some of the videos and they are laggy aswell. Not as bad as mine sometimes but there is still lag.

Its not my connection buddy. If it was I would have lag all the time... which I dont. Ive asked people in the chat if they have the same problem and its turns out they do.
Was just asking a simple fact of "could anything be done", until your rude replies.
10Mb.
10mbps??? lol mines 100MBps
yeeeeeyaaaa baby
So what's the reason for pulling the plug on a race if your connection is so good?
lol cmon mate it was you, me and 2 punters it was hardly worth spending 11 minutes on.
You were very fast today ive never raced you before 👍
nice changing what i actually said?? wtf??
10mbps??? lol mines 100MBps
yeeeeeyaaaa baby 11.28 race time
This better 👍

Tiz,
What a waste of 100mbps. I doesn't matter wheather you have a 100000000mbps. 100Mbps does not guarantee a perfect connection, it just gives you an optimal speed. In the end of the day the problem is not with anyones connection, it is probably with PD's servers, hence why there is no world event. Till they sort that problem there will be nothing anyone can do.
So can we now stop the peeing contest, as to who has the better connection. Your lucky enough to live in a part of the world where you get 100mbps. We aren't we have only just realised 50mbps on a cable system, on a phone line we are lucky if we get 16mbps that is useless until BT (British Telecom), get their act together and update all the telephone exchanges.
I'm pretty sure that the fact that you are hosting from New Zealand has more to do with people's lag than their own local network.
I only have 7 MBPS, and I have a decent connection when you host. I'm just geographically closer to you than Europe is.
At the end of the day my friends, the faster the connection, the less lag we will have!
Lets take 2 GTPers as an example,
GTP GUY # 1 has 18mbps speed
GTP GUY # 2 has 10mbps speed
gtp 1 has no lag when i host
gtp guy 2 has bad lag
simple as that!
if everyone had a 100mbps speed surely it would be good as??
Tiz,
You are missing my point. We all have fast enough connections to run as host online. The problem is with PD, their servers aren't right for running world events. Like is said hence the reason there are no world events.
While there is this problem you as host will cause problems for us in Europe, and us as host will cause problems for you. Download speed has nothing to do with it.
then why doesn't gtp guy # 1 have problems?
then why doesn't gtp guy # 1 have problems?

I've been watched many times one race from monday with TVR's, and wondering strange thing what happened to you when driving front of me.
When you have time, could you watch this video and try to remember what happened in lap 2. Something aint right there, how your car flies off track... it may be physics-bug in the game, or lag. I dont know, but it looks weird.

To me, it looks like I was hitting you... but I was not even close. What I wanted to hear is did you feel like punted there? If so, it's most nastiest lag-accident ever!
See you tonight with F512!
FAKahah lol... ye was weird idd i feel the hit/boost before degner 1,car suddenly did 230kmh,but in the video the car start spinning after degner 1...without visible contact... BAH?
+1 to the most nastiest lag-accident ever!
cya later
Well... lots of talk about speed and lag and connections... but how was racing last night? I couldn't join
Tonight is the last night for the base event, so we're going with the 512BB. Anyone has a setup for this to have in post #2?
(note: I only have a 3G HSPA connection and found that I only see lag when Tizzla is hosting, but I used to think it was my connection... but don't get that argument started again, please)
EDIT: Thread tittle and post #1 updated for tonight
