Fuji might be good too. I will go to test it now... it's 650PP and 10laps, so we need to figger out some new rules then.

Thanks 👍👍👍

- 650PP - means we may bring "bigger dogs" to play with on S3's. And we can always lower it to 600.
- 10 laps - and I'm in, but is everyone?

If they had done it yesterday, I was home and could do a new car list. Now I must ask you guys to help come up with some choices for the next days

I don't mind where its held. Both events are good. I may get to race all you overseas drivers again on the weekend. I'm back at school now which means I can't race you guys. :nervous:

I did only few laps with R1/R1, minimum weight and max power... it felt very fun to drive with those specs, and there still was quite much tailhappiness which makes driving more fun than raildriving.

If we choose to lower PP's, we need to go to delayed starts too... but I dont think we need to do that with R1-tyres, if those are ok for most of us. 512BB is also littlebit tricky car, so R1-tyres could give more equal battle between us...?

Min weight, max power, got to be on R1's... No problem for me.

So in short: PRO 650PP Fuji RWD, 512BB + R1 for today and we will see out it goes?

I did few laps with some old setups... 1'44-1'45

It will be complicated... hmmm...

This might be littlebit too hard to follow, but 20 minutes schedule is too tight I think...

1st hour: 21.00, 21.25, 21.50

2nd hour: 22.15, 22.40

3rd hour: 23.05, 23.30, 23.55

I'd go for Daytona Road, I remember the 512BB being a lot of fun there :)

All the best
Maz

To be honest, I'd go with Maz on this one. Since it's more fun with S tires for me. :) Also 10 lap race is nice, but when there's any kind of troubles, the loooong wait is quite annoying. Just my 2 cents, I'm ok with both choises.

That might be best solution in the end. I havent driven there much, so it would be something quite new for me.

Yeah.. either that or every 20mins.. Haven't tried yet how long it takes. Or did you try already?

Never liked Daytona road much. But then again, there are many other tracks I learned to like.

I think we should go for 20 mins. Must allow some room to breath. xx.03/.23/.43

Unless you test and see it's feasible a 15mins interval.

No I didn't... just checked that official Daytona-thread. There is 15min interval.

20min-schedule would be great too, if that 15min is very tight. I like to check 'racing-threads' between races everytime, and also do some setup changes, so I like if there is few minutes time after race.

Can't we just use the old race times it would be much easier, I like daytona road though its my favorite track on the game along with eiger, not saying much considering we have only got 5 tracks, Might try the eiger event though it looks rather tempting. :)

Well, if the general thread can do 15, so can we. We usually have very fast race times in our close group (me excluded :P)

Daytona 550pp xx.03/.23/.43 it will be for now. Thanks!

Yep... Daytona Road, and 20minutes interval. Sounds great!

See you there fellas. 👍

Hmmm, I would prefer to keep it at 03,23 and 43 as I searched for a race at .27 and got back to the lobby at dead on .41 which leaves only 1 minute for tweaks or other things which means that realistically if you want to do something you have to miss the next race. Oh and that was with a rather quick matching time as well 30 seconds -1 minute. :)

Thread tittle updated!

Keep your tunes, car suggestions and any other feedback coming!👍

I would have prefered fuji. Daytona road does provide close racing, but the track seems a bit simplistic compared to suzuka. I think fuji is the better track for a mix of close racing and interesting track. Happy to go with Daytona though, if thats what the group want.

I was thinking that possibly we could do a mix say one night fuji the next daytona?

I hate Daytona road. Like I do almost all tracks made of odd patches glued together. But in the current events, the other option (Fuji) is 10 laps...

I think we can follow Tiddy's suggestion and do a test run there soon, but for today, I'll keep as it is.

I would like to share this event between Fuji and Daytona... and one odd day maybe we could surprise, and go to visit Eiger! I'm going to look someday, what is that combo about... it sounds so different, and I dont wanna go to there alone.:nervous:

I've been doing some tuning-laps... 2'01-2'02 is quite basic safe laptime. What you guys have done... I'd like to know, am I missing something with my setup. :scared:
