I understand Mr Persistance. I really do not like using the brakes either. Really all I do is glide around a corner and right in the middle of it I usually floor it! It saves time. The brakes slow you down to much. You can also take advantage of the emotion system and barley hold on the brakes which in a way is like gliding but it slows you down faster.

Letting off the gas. Thats how I would describe gliding. Also using the brake for this is sometimes necssary but if you know the track and time it right you can fly around corners that are usually quite difficult.

I don't brake for the part leading to the bridge, but i some times have to lift. you can keep more speed with the control pad, but i found it to be heavy. anyone have a weird handling problem in 3rd gear in some cars?

In my F090/S if I am not mistaken when I hit a sharp turn like at the Grand Valley Speedway when I hit a certiain gear it tends to fish-tail? Is it just my driving or does everyone have this problem?

yeah the hill leading up to the first tunnel is make or break time you can fly up there after a good end sector to the lap before and if you get the right line going into the tunnel ( and yes i clip the wall in this tunnel but only to direct me i dont ride round it , it is the only wall on the course that you need contact with , call it cheating but if you watch a race in the game replays you will see opposition cars do it all the time like i say save the brakes man )when i drive i use auto all the time i've only used manual once on monaco license .

The computers hit every wal Apparently a 'special' school provides the drivers for the opposing cars

Well its not cheating all the time. I also do this trick and I have also noticed that the cpu does it also. I just dont understand why at Luguna Seca the cars around the last corner always go into the sand. I mean on every lap they do this.

Yea, that's what I mean, the computers drive like 3 year olds, on the Laguna Endurance(I think) the Vertigo race car spun out practically every lap on that last turn, so when i was behind him when he did this I would just barrel into him and screw him over even more

yup some go into the sand..well whether they do or dont, if i can i like ta help em get into the sand faster

I don't care if the computer does go in the sand, I'll always cut them off using the proper line...

I just find it really funny how the computer does this like every lap. I just sit and atch sometimes if im ahead enough I sit at that corner and watch everybody hit the dirt. Occasionally two cars hit one another and one spins out.

I'm still into the grass a little, but I'll tweak it. (I was just messing around with it, and was running about a 1'19.xxx (1'21.xxx was my top in the session, 2.3 seconds ahead) and blew it on the turn before that. Ended up spinning out. Got to see if I can memorize my lines to duplicate it.)
BTW, do you use ASM or TC? I'm of the mind that they slow me down. Any thoughts?

That's what I figured. Too little acceleration with TC on, and too little turn radius with ASM going. Just wondering if they were something I was missing out on because I am stubborn.
