From the blog, what does this mean exactly?

"There’s more good news, because as a special gift anyone who purchased anything from the first batch of DLC will get unlock the Gran Turismo Racing Kart 125 SP and five New Car Refresh cards in the game for free."

yah this is the only thing im interested in lol. but already have 125 kart. yet this new one is 125 SP. i want to know if theres a difference or if this kart will have gears

I know...very vague but im thinking wishfully to be honest. I mean how much improvement can they really do on a patch update right? I would imagine a severe overhaul would be required in order fix up the sound effects. In any case, you, myself and a ton of other people are crossing our fingers.

They probably only worked on standard cars' engine sounds. Which is great, they need work most of them. But it says racing sound effects, so could it be they have improved the sounds of collisions or when going over the grass rather than the actual cars' sounds? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

very lame i have to admit. all this hype for new dlc and this is what we get? also i think we have enough gtr's in this game, why add another? also what is the Gran Turismo Racing Kart 125 SP? anyone know?

SP? Could stand for special paint, ie a different livery for that one kart.

Lets not forget the changes that they never put in the list.

I notice that with every update, certain Standard cars look a little better (Cleaned up textures). I imagine some more will be looking better.

Guess now would be the time to start on some "before/after" testing to see how the sound effects will be improved.

I think one of the neatest features is being able to get all the cars in the truck with one button push. That's a step in the right direction. Next would be purchasing multiple cars at once in the OCD or UCD and changing oil in multiple cars at once.

A little dissapointed that there isn't any tracks, but hopefully that's in the next set.

Completely agree. Buying used cars and changing their oil is a pain right now. These processes need to be quick. It would be an improvement if buying a car from the OCD / UCD DID NOT return the user to the GT Home page. Changing oil needs to be possible and near immediate from the garage for one or multiple cars. If the GT Auto oil change must stay, the animation should be at least skipable.

Hey dudes, i you may see Polyphony have announced that the new DLC will be released the 20th of december. The DLC pack will cost 3,99$. It will be featuring 4 cars:

• 2011 Mini Cooper S
• 2010 Volkswagen Golf VI R
• 2010 Volkswagen Scirocco R
• 2012 Nissan GT-R Black edition R35.

By downloading the new update you will also get the new Toyota 86 free. Spec 2.02 also includes a number of updates to the game like upgraded racing sounds.

Personally im not very happy about the new DLC pack. I simply cant see any reason to buy those cars. I expected DLC like the Forza 4 ones with some legendary race cars and so.

But let me hear you opinion on the new DLC

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! Please tell me this isn’t a joke!!! This is by far the best I’ve seen!!!

I was first in shock when I saw “wheels on standards” and then I scrolled down to see a MK6 Golf and a Scirocco!!! OMG OMG!!!!

This has got to be a joke. This is too good to be true!!!

I’m still shaking off the shock, and just hoping this is true. That 86 looks somewhat strange. Just like if it was a photoshoped FT-86 Concept. The real car is narrower and it sits much more higher than that.

About the wheels on standards, it just sounds too good to be true. How did PD managed to do this? and how it will they implement this? My guess would be that the wheels will be interchangable between standards like in GT4… It’s the only way I can think of it working.

I think that might be the case, hopefully we will have access to more wheels from the actual manufacters (sp?)

Wow, the option to now change wheels on standard cars really surprised me. Very looking forward to this update & DLC. And guys, this might not be the only batch of DLC were getting. Maybe were also getting a track pack that they just haven't announced yet.
