New DLC Free Car and Update 2.02

Can't wait to buy and do the 2.02 update! Waiting with cash in hand!

What I'm most excited about is changing wheels on the standards.. and the '12 GTR!

Could care less about the mini and the VW's. I'm sure someone is into them though.
 
I'm happy overall. I would have liked to see more cars, but I'm happy just to see more non-Japanese cars. Wheel changing on standards and redeeming all the gift tickets are great.

I'll buy it.
 
The DLC pack is not interesting at all to me, those cars are just boring. The update looks good though, change wheels for standard cars and sound improvements, but I think the sound of cars will not change going by the wording, and a free car that's more interesting to me than the ones in the download pack.
 
The DLC is OK. $1 a car isn't too bad but the last car pack was a FAR more impressive value. I may still buy it even though I don't really want the cars, If for nothing else, just to support this game's DLC so more comes. No tracks is a bit of a letdown, but there's plenty more DLC coming, I'm sure.

But the update itself......WOW!!! Awesome!! Changing rims on standard cars was my #1 greatest wish for GT5. That one customising option takes that 800 cars that were basically all the same for everyone aside from color, and now makes them all far more able to become "YOUR" car. ANd for all those standard cars that have REALLY lame looking rims which ruin the whole car, they can all now have good looking rims.

This pretty much makes standard cars just as good as premium now (aside from the interiors of course). It makes the game a perfect 10/10 for me. I'm SOOOO happy about this.

Now Yamauchi-San.......BRING ON THE TRACKS !!!!!!!!!

It's amazing how fresh GT5 has stayed for me this whole year when I've been playing since launch night. And now putting rims on standard cars renews the whole game for me yet again. Amazing.

When a lot of guys are pissed to get "another" GTR, some people gets happy with it. Good one, I'm glad to have the 2012 godzilla too.

Same toughts here... wheels for standard = number 1 wish for me too. I still thinking that its too good to be true.
 
The update isn't bad, I like that we can put wheels on standard cars, but that is about it.

The DLC is CRAP.

I want more AMERICAN cars.

In game it's kind of disheartening that you can't modify the exterior in anyway or form. Quite odd if you ask me, just color change and nothing more.

5 actual new cars, that's good news.. day one buy. :dopey:

Improved racing sounds? Not sure what that means.. but sounds great. And the standards getting aftermarket wheels can only be a good thing. :)
 
Hey man! It's better than nothing! More tracks would be great, however I am happy with whatever they give out. I like VWs.....it's only $4.

The update is great, as per usual. The DLC, however, is somewhat dissapointing. Though I'll probably still buy it. I wonder if the update allows us to buy DLC cars from the dealership, like Kaz said we would be able to do, after the last update.
 
im just happy we are getting NEW cars haha.
I wanted some tracks but this good enough for me.
Not to get my hopes up but I think theres a chance that old GT tracks could be included in the update finger crossed.
 
More of anything is good. I've not put 1 mile on the last DLC cars though! Standard wheel change is great. No doubt we'll eventually get more tracks-patience.
 
I'm eager to know what's that all about the sound effects. I hope someone posts a before and after vid like they did when they fixed the LFA's sound :)

And I hope my previous post wasn't misunderstood. I will be more than happy to have that same wheel system that we had in GT4 where wheels were interchangable. I actually used the "used wheels" section more than the actual aftermarket ones.
 
Couldn't have been a better DLC pack for me. I'm a big Hot Hatch fan the Golf being my Favorite!!

Only thing that could have been better would have been the Hyundai Veloster added as a premium....

Hope that the "new racing sounds" part means they did something about the pathetic exhaust sound of the Sauber Merc and the GT-One... :)

The new cars... well, I'm actually surprised... because PD still insist of giving us yet another friggin' Skyline!!! :yuck:👎:scared::crazy::ouch:

I'd love to buy only the Scirocco... Hope this time there's an option of only buying one car from the whole pack... 👍

Not too fussed about the DLC but the patch sounds good. It'll be nice to copy settings sheets, and the GT Auto features will make things a bit easier. 👍
 
Always wished they had included the Scirocco R in the game, very happy to see it arriving in 6 days! PD do seem to be doing an excellent job of keeping the interest strong in the game and within the GT community, thumbs up to them! :)
 
I know it's pretty much the same car but I'm a little surprised and bummed the Scion FR-S didn't make it in the update or DLC. We know it's done...
Sadly the main reason I would have wanted it would have been just to see another dealer logo pop up in the New Car Dealerships

The oil change wont look different it just show the before and after PP and HP change.
