NEW DLC (TWIN RING MOTEGI & Scion FR-S'12)

High Speed Ring got a MAJOR overhaul from GT4 to GT5p. Motegi, not so much. To make the whole thing insulting, Motegi doesn't even have day night cycles or rain!!!

SONY is getting desperate.

Anyone got any in car footage of the FR-S on Twin Ring? Two Uploads on YouTube at the moment but are Exterior Shots.

Thanks, but, can a DLC downloader profile choose the track in a non-DLC downloader's lounge?

Again, I race on my MrM...15 account, in the ITCC_Division_1 lobby, and organize the ITCC_Division_2 lobby on my MrM...15 account. Would I be able to go into the Division lounges and select Motegi, even though the account that I don't use (the Division lounges) doesn't have the DLC?

That was the problem with the first DLC.
Then then made the family pack.

I thoughtthe DLC after that you could use for all accounts on one PS3.
but I'm not sure.

Do you have any other DLC? how did that work

Go online and try to get into a Motegi room, if you can even see one.

I've never heard of an individual hosting multiple rooms at once. If that is what you're wanting to do.

If your friends don't have it, they can't race with you on it.

DLC on a PS3 is NOT locked to the account that bought it.

KB18, I just don't think you understand the Division racing idea. We have 16+ drivers in the series. So, we had to create "Divisions." And, as such, I wanted to give each division a dedicated lounge (where the lounge is just a PSN account that does nothing but sit idle and host the lounge.) That's a nice way of reminding people which lounge they're in, and assuring that we can keep the two groups of drivers separate in our heads.


The ITCC is a highly successful series. Round one's this Saturday, at Madrid Reverse. It's a fun series, but it's one of the best run series. I have e-mail addresses, YouTube accounts, google+ accounts and PSN accounts all dedicated to it.


So, I'm trying to make sure that I can run the lounge as it was designed.
 
Man this Scion is everywhere. I have seen commercials on this car for the past two days on TV. And It's on every other video on Youtube as a advertisement before the video.

The only reason we got this car is to push the brand.

You're confusing everything by trying to interweave promotion of your league.

Here it is, real simple. Since November 2011, SONY allows us to share [new] DLC with 2 PS3's instead of 5. it doesn't matter what username you use. If YOU buy DLC, YOU can only activate it on 2 PS3's.

We have (we, had) 2 PS3's (3 before my son moved out) under our roof. If I purchase DLC, my daughter can race with me or by herself online with said DLC. However, even though my account is also on my son's PS3, he can't use this Motegi, SSRX, nor Spa DLC.

I hope you understand this, it's quite simple. Stop complicating it by promoting your league, please.

Ok , but i don't have scion as dealer , think it's because i download the content with my US account , but even with the right account/game save nothing happen .

Looks like I'll have to wait until the European release :ouch:

After you download it from the PS store, boot up and game and go to the little red button on the far right of the main menu (not GT Life, but the very first main menu). Click on that, and inside will be your DLC. Click install, and BAM, you're good to go!

It makes no sense what you're describing. If you have 2 PS3's, you can host under 2 different PSN ID's - 1 from each activated PS3. if anyone else in your league wants to host, they need to buy it. Anyone who wants to race in that lounge needs to buy it. You cannot buy it and share it on 16 PS3's.

I can host, my daughter can host. I can host from my GTP_account on her PS3 while my wife can host on my PS3 (if it wasn't dead from YLOD). You can have 16 accounts on 1 PS3 at a time. Any of those can use the DLC on an activated PS3.

You do need that stupid Family Pack though. Otherwise DLC will be locked to the account that purchased it.

I see it more as opening your presents to find unfinished toys and then Santa returning to sell you the other parts.

Motegi should also be free as a thank you to the 1,000,000 gamers who gave Sony/PD/Nissan such good publicity for the GT Academy. eg During the 24hr Le Mans Eurosport gave their PR guy interviews during the race to promote it and he was very keen to advertise that nearly 1,000,000 gamers were involved.

I created two accounts on one PS3. I want to use the DLC on my MrM15 account, in the other lounges. I was asking if anyone knew if *that* was possible. I've bought the track. It's too late. If it does work, YAY! If not, who cares? I still get a pretty incredible track.

Anyone on the PS3 can use the DLC for any purpose. If you're going to use your PS3 as an idle host, anyone who wants to come into the room must have the DLC. Make sure you allow users to change the settings of the room in your absence.

Now, if you buy a second PS3 for your bedroom or rumpus room, you, or one of the other division accounts on that activated PS3, can host a Motegi room too.

For the YouTube videos from TunersPit, one person in the room does not race. But does "steward duties" from Spectator Mode. He or she records the race and switches from car to car, making sure everyone is behaving.

I have 25+ PSN accounts for various purposes :P. I think the limit on created accounts on a PS3 is 65. It was discovered when the birthday glitch was popular.
 
I tried to racing my X2011 on Twin Ring Motegi Speedway, and got dizzy after 10 laps.. :ill:. Too damn fast for 1.5 miles oval... :scared:

Twin Ring Motegi is the first piece of DLC which offers something I have wanted since I got the game. Quite shocking but great to finally have it.

No he isn't, I entered one last night just fine (DLC is still not available on the U.K store yet), it only stopped me once I tried to go to the track.
