Honestly, Conan would've been funny. Leno I feel would probably drop a leak by choosing a car from his collection that got scanned.

Or even better: Frasier Crane and his BMW 525i

And his version had Collector Level 50.
No PP limit... There are going to be some seriously fast times posted if that stays the case.
No PP limit is usually done in Cafe events, and events outside that will implement PP limit and one of those are the Gr. events (thinking about that part not being updated yet).

I'm going to take a guess that this supposed content update will be April at the earliest. Not saying they won't do some more bug fixing updates throughout March though.

9 new cars. I'll be interested to see if/how they might be spread across the 3 dealerships.

Nothing as far as I know to suggest a new track with the update. It's probably a bit too soon for them to start releasing tracks anyway, as most people are still getting used to the ones already there.

I think I heard somewhere that there were actually 50 Menu Books, and we only have access to 39 so far. A lot of them were race car related apparently. Maybe they are holding some of those back so they can offer new tracks to unlock via progression (e.g. Menu Book 40 could unlock Road Atlanta, which isn't in the game yet)

On the topic of Menu Books, I noticed that one of the tags associated with some of the GT3 cars was "Nurburgring 24 Hours". This got me thinking, if there are more Menu Books, maybe one of them is a Nurburgring 24H Winner collection featuring the M3 GT, R8 LMS '15, & AMG GT3 '16. I find it strange how the '15 R8 is 800,000 credits while the newer Evo model is the normal 450,000.

Well, if it’s the fastest way to earn Cr., I’ve got that Gr.1 Hyundai, that I won in the roulette, gathering dust.

It's just simple, cars from 2001 and above would appear in Brand Central and Used Cars, and for older cars if they have high historical value they'd be at Hagerty but the rest would be only at Used Cars. You'd probably know which cars would qualify enough to be at Legend Cars (like it's obvious for cars like 917K), but for GT7 the requirement is far more restrict than GT4.

But there are no new tracks in GT7 for now, there's only returning tracks and most of the tracks came from GT Sport.

I don't know where was it said that there's 50 Menu Books? Wasn't it said that there's "over 30" (which'd be true as there's 39)? At least in the GTPlanet article here.

@Tidgney said on his GT7 review that he heard from a source that there were exactly 50 menu books that covered race cars prior to the game's release.

🤨🤨

I'm just sad that once you complete the menu books, you cant really get an opportunity to win engine swaps or anything juicy as the daily ticket is always a low star category :(

One point about cars being added, on average, GT Sport added 50 cars per year? So yea i'm hopeful content will be coming in a similar way so that the game will always be worth coming back to in the future.

The game content seems to be ok for a launch considering the game is live service means that this is not the final form of GT7.

FFS just as i b*tch about the daily workout reward, it throws me a 6 star ticket!

The first year of launch content arrived far more thick and fast, it was closer to 100 cars. If you average it out over the time span of the “regular update” period (last content pack was November 2020, with an extra outlier of the GR86 coming July 2021), then it’s more like ~60 per year. There’s been the additional talk of outsourcing, but we don’t know how substantially that has/still can increase production.

I’d say it’s safe to rely on well over 50 new cars in the first year, honestly for me personally 100 wouldn’t surprise me.

9 new cars.I hope that it includes Lancer Evolution 9 GSR.
...no new cars, if you look at his gameplay, he has in that one shoot 2x two same cars, one is the VGT he choose... So presumably he has 9 duplicates, at least what I can see, he got some sort of review or whatever copy with all cars in garage and 20mil on account, so when he did (or someone) some missions or something, some of the cars were awarded and those are those 9 duplicates...

Every car on the screen is a different GT7 vehicle. There's the Mazda LM55 and the Mazda LM55 Gr.1, and the McLaren VGT and the McLaren VGT Gr.1.

Of course we only see 36 cars, so there's a chance that the 433-car garage has some duplicates in it but that's not implicit in what we say. If Sony has sent over a specific all-unlocked build (with at least two new events in it; unfortunately he skips through Daytona too quickly to load them all in the bottom menu bar, though no additional events appear in Blue Moon Bay or Willow Springs) it seems reasonable that there'd be one, and only one, of everything.

3 dealerships? Nah son, its 9 iterations of miatas that we getting 😂

But this whole cafe book thing yall been talking about is new to me. Wonder how many more they will add.

Tweet author here, while I cannot directly disclose where this information comes from, this particular video, and another piece of information (linked on my twitter) matches up with what I have.

So it's not that they've even removed the events, they're still there on the server, but locked and hidden for now unless you're Jimmy Fallon. How nice. Then when they graciously unlock some of them for mere mortals in a future update everyone will pat them on the back for "adding" content.

Gaming can really suck these days with certain companies.

In the pre lanch material you can see a japanese sport car 1 menu, i remember to have seen a picture with toyota 86 menu, in the state of play you can see clearly a VGT menu, and in the showcase september trailer there was a menu with mercedes 300 sl, porsche 550 spyder and another unidentified car, why so many cutted books from the final game? They have ruined the career mode
