Take out my name from OP. I wasn´t being serious.
Not because i disagree of the format, but because i don´t join in no competition.

Drifting for me is like Capoeira, its a cooperative sport, not competitive.

Sorry i have been lagging guys, but real drifting has just started and had consumed alot of my time this week. but i want to hold a Qualifyer event this weekend, to see where everyone will place. the guys retracting their entry, it is noted, i have people to replace your spots, so everything should be good. if everyone is available this saturday night or sunday morning i would like to hold the qualifying event and then everyone will get the event info in that room. i will post up the room number on saturday morning in everyone psn. the room will stay open all day, saturday and sunday.

I agree!

I learned to drift with sixaxis and used it for a year + ( with Comfort Hard tires 100% always), then I had DFGT, now I have G27, I do use C:H tires still because PD - GT5 gives more points for it, but I do understand in real life speed also matters.
C:H is more angle less speed (and more easy with sixaxis)
S:H is less angle and more speed, drift does look good and seems to be more professional.

now Im using Comfort medium (still learning), it gives bit more speed and control but less angle and points, Im just trying to learn for GT5 rules, since Im no real life drifter..... yet :sly:👍

Ok, so here's the situation. GT5 users tend to always use the weaker compund tire to drift on, because its so much easier to do, BUT there is a world of people on this game that like higher skilled drifting. There tends to be many rooms that only allow you to use comfort hard tires, so alot of us stay out of these rooms. then, when we make our own rooms people with comfort hards come into the room and totally slow down the pace and fun of the close, highspeed, realistic tandem. Currently there is no fix for this... why you may ask? the people at PD figured it would be better to upward limit and not limit downward.... that seriously makes no sense. Typically comfort hard drifters try to make claims that they can hold more angle and maintain that sport drivers cant... well this is the time to put your money where your mouth is. Time to show and prove.

Oh god, here we go...

I say good luck with this. Kudos if you manage to get through a whole season...
