New Le Mans 24h game soon?

I really am interested to see how this game gets packaged as even with the drawing power of Le Mans I feel it will still be hard to sell a game with only 7 tracks. It also doesn't help that the full release is scheduled for a year where the 2 top classes are set for quite a bit of change with the addition of Ferrari's hypercar entry, the LMDh manufacturers and new LMP2 regulations (not sure if 2023 is still the plan for this tbh), so the game could very well release in an out-of-date state.

I know I'm being rather negative towards a game that I know basically nothing about, but considering it seems their Le Mans title is possibly preventing other games from having the track, the margin for error is much smaller than their other 2 titles.

So we agree. IF the exclusive agreement means no more La Sarthe in generic "catch all" racing games we all lose. IF it doesn't mean that we all win

Given that this year iRacing could not even host a 24hr race at Le Mans on a track that they already have in their game, it does not look good for the future of this track in upcoming games.

That's the event though. The track and the event, in licensing terms, are two different things.

Hopefully other games will be able to include "Circuit De La Sarthe" but not make any reference to "Le Mans" or include a 24Hr race.
