For this challenge I went a bit out of my comfort zone. I came across this design by Andy Blackmore and thought let's give it a go. The car is full of small references to Le Mans so would be a nice fit for a LeMans contest. However it was way too complicated. I hoped Andy would maybe be able to help out with a few decals, but he didn't respond so started from scratch and had to trace every single decal lol. Luckily enough its a 2019 livery and there are lots of high res images available (with my SuperGT liveries I don't have that luxury).
Took way too long but I like the result. Can you find all the small references?

The new Ferrari VGT livery was quite challenging to create. It really did not give a chance to do what I really wanted but I think I got it to work quite nicely and i'm waiting to do more livery's in the future for this low speedster.

That is incredible mate
I do love an Andy Blackmore design, and this is a perfect replica

This is based on ORECA's final run with the original Viper GTS-R at the 2002 24 Hours of Le Mans, chassis #C41, she finished on the podium behind the two Corvettes, and featured future Le Mans winner Benoit Treluyer as part of a crew of younger drivers that Oreca was promoting. This is also one of my favorite liveries on the Viper, mixing PlayStation iconography with the cool pinstriping., although some minor tweaking was needed to fit everything on the more modern Viper body. I've had a diecast of this car for many years and originally made in GT Sport but just needed to fix her up and correct many things for GT7.

The car was also recently restored to her full 2002 appearance by former Viper driver Florent Moulin and was featured at Goodwood Festival of Speed. Link to their Instagram page

Crazy because I was trying to decide between this and the one I actually ended up doing. Nice work, this is one of my favorite liveries all time. Like you said there are a lot of hidden stories in the design. I had half of the elements drawn out so maybe I'll do it on something else later. Either way great work man!

This is one of my favorite designs all time. So simple yet so beautiful by Morani Design. I kept it as close to the original as my mind would let me. I couldn't put the God awful giant green screwdriver on it because it ruins it imo, lol. I also put the block gradient on the roof vent to match the spoiler.

Filling the role of Fantasy / Future Le Mans entry.
Ferrari decide to bolster the ranks with a Factory effort along with the AF Corse teams.
They go with Modena Yellow to make the single car entry stand out. Charles LeClerc is the star driver.

The new design I have in progress for this one isn't going to get done in time, so I'm pivoting to enter a recent design I made for Le Mans.

This is a modern tribute to the Salzburg Porsche 917K #23 which won the 1970 Le Mans race. I actually use this livery+car a ton, putting probably 1,000 miles on it, so I'm happy to enter it even if it's not brand new.

I updated the previous design a bit to make it a hair more realistic with closer to correct decals + sponsors. This round seems especially tough to place, some really good submissions.
