Welcome all.

For Drifting, you dont want any AIDS on AT ALL!!!

It makes your drifting easier but you wont get better but only depend on the aids. It will make you a good drifter if you keep practicing, try using settings from the Drift Settings Depot and stay away froms ones that say AIDS ON.
Trust me thats how I got here. :D

hello everyone
i' ve finaly found my way here to introduce myself :)
i'm 29 years old and i live near Paris in France , i'm playing at GT since the first one and i discoverded the art of drifting with videos from the team FBI on GT4 and then with various japanese videos.
obviously infected by dorifto virus , i' m trying my best to get it right and i can't count hours of great fun ( and nightmare too :ouch: ).
i try to drift with the analog stick and i'm planning to get to the dfp one day or another because that's the real way of drifting' 👍 i can almost race not so bad with it but i' m the ultimate looser when it comes to let the streering wheel spin :)
i guess you know everything
thanks to all and please forgive my english i don't know if i get my sentences well done

Hey everyone i'm new here, but i registered here back in June 1, 2006. I don't really post here well just recently haha. I'm 15 and I don't practice drifting that much in GT4 to tell you the truth. I usually practice grip driving with some friends online using AR max. I started posting here, because a friend of mine invited me in WDS competition. I just hope to have fun in the forums ^_^.I don't really have a favorite drift car in GT4, if their FRs I will drift them. Just for more information i'm from Initial D World Forums, but please don't hate me I just came here to have fun, but not enimies.

lol naah i just like the forums and stuff and big ID fan, but don't think that way haha and well, care to see what i can do then mr. undefeated?

Ike, H_S2000-san! Lol, my situation is somewhat like his. I'm from the same forum. I registered here forever ago, but only posted a couple things. I don't always drift, but I do when I get bored of racing or when I want to figure out a track or car. I'm just interested in getting to know more people who play and maybe exchanging info to get better. I do enjoy a good race though.

Welcome gold_ultima, H_S2000 and Geoff. Enjoy it here and keep posting. Enter some competitions too, they are Fun with a capital F. :)

Hey, im Chris and so far I'd say my favorite car is the S13, though I can barely ever to drift it right, but Im reading the tips and Im slowly getting better. I just spin out way , WAY too much. All the tips are great and I love the videos. For the longest time I didnt even think it was possible to drift on GT 4 until I found this site :)

lol i guess, but i hate it when people say "Dont think like you can drive like takumi overnight" I just hate it

I said that a while back.
9. Practice makes perfect.

- Practice is the most important factor of drifting or any form of motorsport for that matter. It doesn’t take an incredibly talented person to be a good drifter in GT4. Nor do you have to be a technical guru and understand all the details about each techique and how the physics of weight transfer work. It takes someone with some dedication to practicing the techniques until they become second nature.

“New drifters tend to want to become ‘Takumi’ over night.” ~ Swift
This isn't going to happen. So don't expect it and don't become frustrated when just beginning.
*snip*

Welcome to GTP! Have fun in the WDS! :)

Hey everyone, I'm new to GTPlanet, I've been playing GT since the first one came out, I love the game, best racing simulator out there! I just started drifting and hope to learn alot from you all. Nice to be here.
