:) Hey im new to this web site and to gt4 drifting. i was wondering if i could get some pointers or settings for the blitz di skyline? thad be great. thx:) :)

Don't try it? Try something with less HP and more control like a Rx7.

some setups or pointers..... yeah, go ahead and drift it all you want. The real trick is putting it on N2's and not changing any settings, i hope you can do that. The Blitz D1 er34, is a drifting car (duh) it comes good enough to drift

Hi, i'm Will, i just joined the GT forum a couple days ago. I started the art of drifting before i knew it was an art. I started drifting on GT 3 about half way through the game...i found it very fun to do(i used a Mazda RX-7 mainly to drift). When nfs underground came out, i beat the game in 10 hours using only the ford focus...i loved the fact that there was drift mode on the game...but what i didn't like was how non-realistic it was. Well...on to more interesting things...in GT 4 i will purposely drift during races just for the fun of it...& just a little info. i started drifting in the video game world in 2001, i got my driver's liscence in 2003 & shortly after that i started practicing in empty parking lots...but it was only power sliding, b/c i had a 1997 Ford Escort sport (it was a manual). I have a 2003 Ford Focus sedan (it's a manual too)...i practice power sliding in snow covered parking lots(it's soooo fun)& i've figured out how to(while moving forward) send my car into a 360 spin & regain control & continue to go in my original path of travel. i'm proud of myself. i think that it's awesome that there are drift competitions b/c i have never been able to drift against a skilled drifter...shoot i haven't ever raced online till i got a PS3...so...theres a little info. about me...now i want to go drifting!

Hello, I've had GT4 for around 6 months now but have recently begun playing. I discovered that drifting was an option around three weeks ago when I first found out about this website and forum. After deciding that this was an amazing place to learn how to drift and whatnot, I figured I would start a membership.

Hi, guys im really new to this i just started today and i have been trying to drift a 1997 Supra RZ in the game and i am really into this i also have been looking at the thread about the drift setups and I found them very helpful to drift the BMW M3 GTR and i hope to get a lot better with the supra

Hello ~~ everybody.

I'm very new to GT4 and this is the second day for me on ps2 (i borrowed my friend's console yesterday , lol). I interested of drifting much , and i've try too many games before to find out the realistic simulation from the game (all is pc game) and GT with ePSXe emulator to practice before going into the real life drift(when i got enough money to buy a car and stuffs) and... one day , I saw the drift movie from GT4 im so impressed !!!!!!! that was freak me out haha (the movie called positive lock). But that was a many monthes ago . Well(i spoke too much xD) after i got ps2 from my friend , i was goging on with google to find some setup guide for a drifting , and yes ...... i found this site and I impressed again that....there are too many ppl interested in a drifting from the racing simulator like a gt4 .

I'm drifting with Honda NSX(I'm not sure that my driving was called a drifting lol) and I'll enjoy you guys more when I got my own ps2 and wheel !!

Very thanks to you guys for all stuffs and technics , i really love this place

.ps sorry for my weird/bad english

Welcome all new people to GTPlanet.net Please follow the AUP, watch this and have fun drifting. Don't forget, Stickies and PMs are your friend. Even though if you capitalize"S"it looks like PMS. Which is weird in a way...

Hello all! I Am newbie at this forum and maybe in drifting too, i started drifting in gt4 like half an year ago. I'm not so good yet but I will learn. My favourite drifters are: Lexus GS 300 '91, Nissan 200sx '96 & Nissan 200sx (S14) '96.

Hi, i'm 12years old, and have been into cars all my life, into drifting for about 2 years. anyway, one of my all time fave cars is a toyota ae86 sprinter trueno. i plan to get one as my (real life, not gt4) first car in a few years if i can afford to buy and insure one. Does anyone know what the rims are in used wheels(gt4) that are deep dish, and have 4 red spokes? One of my trueno driftmoblies is on them and it looks incredible!

Hello, I'm Alex and I don't really have GT4 yet, but I have owned it previously. I had to sell it back in fall of 2005 because I needed the money. I have ordered it already and it is due to arrive this week. So get ready GT4 streets cause I'm going to tear you up.

Last time I played it I made tons of money. I started with a '97 Toyota MR2 GT-S and worked my way through the game. I sold all my prize cars and after upgrading my MR2 I went and bought a '62 Buick Special which I also fully modified. I then started to enter the American tournament and after winning the Stars and Stripes Tournement about 15 times, I sold the Camaro LMs and had enough money to buy pretty much any car I wanted.

I have done some research and since I don't own GT3, I figure I'll do it the hard way. I'm going to buy used '97 Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STi Version IV which comes with 4WD and more torque and power than any other 4WD car in its price range. I'll probably do a second profile with the MR2 as a starting car just for old times sake.

I started drifting when I bought Need for Speed Underground and I did that until it broke about year and a half ago. I now own Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition for PS2 and for the last year I've been drifting through the cities of Midnight Club 3 and I must say I'm not so bad. I'm about 66% done and I've spent countless hours just drifting the empty streets in arcade mode with rain. I got this game because of all the modifications you can do, though GT4 is like 20 times better due to how challenging and realistic it is. 👍

Hi there folks
I've only had GT4 for about 10 days now. Just getting back into GT after having GT2 & 3. Found the forum looking for a few setup ideas and made the major discovery of just turning off driving aids - found it really improves my driving and speeds (with a DS2)

Just got a wheel (yesterday) a fanatec speed 3, and am now trying to stop massive snaking (and subsequent crashing) when I exit some corners. Any tips or do you think it's just needing to adjust to no aids and a wheel all in a few days?

Got 1 main question though; Is drifting basicaly a style thing or will it help get better lap times?

Thanks Teshu

Hello, im a new to this site, starting to like it A LOT! xD. I think this site if a lot of help to me with all the different kinds of settings and stuff but I a forum on why I can't weight shift and is it possible to drift a U shaped road map thing. If you find it, would any of you experienced people explain to me xD.

hello everyone. I just picked up a new ps2(cause my old one broke) and gt4. Was searching for a gt4 forum and found gt planet. I'm glad i did =)

hey i'm new to this site but a long time gt racer and drifter. i've been plying since gt2 and have completed gt2 and gt3. right now i'm working on gt4 but i've got a huge problem, when i win a championship or just a series of races, i come to the part where i'm getting the prize car, and it freezes. so i thought it was my disc. i bought a new one, but it does the same thing. i think it might be my playstation(i've already had 2 shutdown on me). has anyone expierienced this? any feedback would great. oh and this site looks like heaven:)

Hey my names beven,(yeah weird eh?) im from canada. im new on gtplanet but i have loved th gran turismo series since i played the first one on a demo disc for ps1 forever ago... well thanks for the hello :):)

come off the throttle and keep the wheels pointed in the direction you want to go. sometimes i kinda jerk the steering wheel one way and then the other to find the traction faster. if thats helps you at all.
