It's basically revealed... What the hell else do you guys want? We were just speculating that it could of been released today, it being tuesday and an update coming in June, but that was just a chance.

But with a date for the 16th, maybe a possible release of the 17th, we'll just have to see and wait for any maintenance notices.

I swear sometimes I feel like a rabbit with someone dangling a carrot on a stick in front of me. Getting kinda tired of that feeling. I mean I'm not a child and the majority of us are grown and the way they treat new content announces by basically teasing us is pretty insulting. I almost want to stop checking GTPlanet and just be surprised when I decide to turn on the game one day a see a new update or content.
I don't follow forza but I don't think they do things like this and I just learned they added nurburgring, and I didn't see an advertisement a month and a half ago saying we plan on putting nurburgring on the game on X date, they announced it and put it on the game the day it was announced. Might be just me but I would rather it that way.

Ohhh I like it. I think its a GT-R concept but one late in the design stage and won't be too far off the production model.

They need a new look for the 2016 GT-R if they're promising an 800hp hybrid supercar. Also, you can clearly see LMP influence in the design, the GT-R LM NISMO LMP won't look a whole lot different, especially in the front end.

Good marketing move, its like a concept for both the 2016 production model and the prototype at the same time.

VW were responsible for the mini site and build up to their "reveal", Nissan are responsible for this build up and "reveal". It's quite a simple, straightforward thing to get your head round. Whoever believed the cars were somehow promised to be in game on the dates involved are quite simply not getting it. The disappointment is 100% self inflicted. P.s I think it looks great by the way. Unbelievable aggressive. Can't wait to get hold of it!

I hear what you're saying, but I'm getting the feeling it's not really the same thing.
Logged in here to see what people's thoughts were.
I think it's shaping up to be a concept car, similar to the FT-1.
Should that be the case, it's not PD advertising GT6.
It's really Nissan marketing a concept car.
PD and GT6 are just joining in on the ride and are part of the car manufacturers hype train for their new concept car.

Could be wrong and perhaps it is Nissan's Vision.
But even still, all the dates and hype are coming from official Nissan webpages, not PD.

I'll have to look around a 3d model before my mind is set but I've got an issue with the cavernous black cavities at the front; they make it look like a whale shark. Maybe I'll like it, maybe it'll grow on me. Anyway, I'm going to come back in the morning and see how many posts you all got through before somebody mentions the buzzword.

And VGT GTI ? (mi-june in the last trailer) :)

Maybe there will be an update on 16 June ? :)
I'll GUESS that they will release some specs and that a full scale car will appear at goodwood. Maybe a timeframe for its release in gt6 also.

It looks sort of cool, bold effort by Nissan. Would love to see the back 👍 .

I'm glad they are releasing the VGTs at a faster rate, hope they get done with them soon enough, waste of modeling time for actual real cars in my opinion.

Pretty cool! Although right now it would be cool to stop getting teased by pics and announcements and actually get the VW or the new Nissan in the game.. yes I'm getting impatient!

On June 10th we open the next chapter.

The next chapter is another reveal date? I have no more words. This is all so sad.

Then people were right. It doesn't match the cover

Does anyone else think that the press release and the teaser image imply a new halo car, to be positioned above the GT-R?

Each car — from the Skyline Sport Coupe and Fairlady Z, to the GT-R NISMO GT3 — represents a chapter of Nissan’s story. On June 10th we open the next chapter.”

In my mind they're not calling each model is a chapter, they're saying that each line of cars represents a chapter, so surely opening the next one would mean creating a new line of cars? And that teaser image is way too aggressive/extreme looking (in my opinion) to ever become a next-gen Z or GT-R at any stage.

The R36 isnt going to be that radical so its possible. one look at the back will put to rest any doubt if its will have any relationship to the GTR or not.

The slope of the rear roof line and rear haunches are similar to the r35 but since it's a nissan, it will look very little like it when it comes out.
Looks like nissan is looking to come out with an exotic car, r390 minus the whole racing thing-esque.

Haha could be true, check out my avatar ;)
Yours looks better.

All depends on taste, but as i said before i think the emphasis on these fantasy cars is becoming a bit too grand. Most people would prefer real cars being added in packs on a regular bases than receiving 10 weird looking Batmobiles in the course of a year. Seems Kaz wants to stay excentric at all costs :D

Well at least it's free.
