Will the new Nissan conform to the shape under the cover?

Right, I wasn't clear in the first post but I did mean road cars. I can only hope they've got a whole bunch modeled and are either saving them for PS4 or planned DLC schedule.

My two cents... they're using the VGT to keep some new content coming our way whilst they feverishly model cars for GT7. They can hype up the VGT's to the point where some might not notice that lack of real car updates. And, well, it's better for PD to offer GT7 with ~200 newly modelled premiums, than 100 newly modeled premiums, and 100 that you could have had in GT6.

I do wonder though, will the VGT's carry over to GT7?

In all honesty. In my opinion, that just proves PD is too slow and little of a compeny to deliver content like other developers. They need to pick up the pace. The VGTs can't be the only thing to keep us occupied for long.

I am looking forward to learning more about this car. It's not an attractive car, though the rear lights are cool, but it is a pure concept so it is intended to push boundaries. Nissan say it is a glimpse of future performance cars and I am quite happy and thankful we get such access to that.

Also, I have no problem with getting another Nissan.

I've thinking and then it reminds me the Gumpert. It doesn't look much pretty because the reason of aerodynamics that affected the design of a whole car to have weird proportion and looks, but the results are great downforce and stability. Same thing with this. Nissan want to show us a newly developed aerodynamic system for next GT-R, which make this a bit like experimental car and why the shape is kinda odd... Of course I pretty sure the R36 will not look like exactly the same as this (the styling is too radical to being a road car, need a bit more subtle), only some parts or features in this car that is going to be put in the next-gen GT-R.:D That's my theory though, maybe I'm wrong in some point...

I wonder what kind of specs it has?

I hope one of the 28 VGT manufacturers steps up to make an old fashioned style manual trans naturally aspirated Gran Touring car that's really light and simplistic.

Money's on Alfa for that.

I find it likely the Ford VGT project will have a manual, maybe the SRT one too.

Posted this on news page, but just to repeat here, when you watch the trailer on YT, at the end you have the option to look at the video for the Nissan ESFLOW Concept 2020.

Yes, I KNOW these are obviously not the same cars, but I wonder whether the concept for this car has come out of the mindflow of the other 2020 concept (if you understand what i mean). Perhaps some of the people involved worked on both cars, or the technology will be similar. Who knows, no idea of course just speculating.

But it does seem rather coincidental that both cars are 2020 concepts?

i wasn't too much of a fan of the initial photo, but seeing the trailer I think it looks much better in motion, quite sleek actually. Just my two pennies cents...

PS can't wait for the VW hopefully on Wednesday 👍

Complains about having features and fixing the game first, then turns around and demands more content:

Because:

1.- It's horrible
2.- It's a Nissan... ANOTHER NISSAN... :banghead:

So I take it even if the 2015 Nissan LMP1 comes (a modern LMP car like people want), you'll still won't like because its another Nissan.

There's only one Nissan I'd take: Nissan Sentra. Anything else, bleh.

If there is a car manufacturer I don't like and/or care, is Nissan. Thanks to GT.

But overall, I'd rather have a Fiat Multipla, a Pontiac Aztek, a Toyota Corolla, the Homermobile or, like I said earlier today, a bloody excavator, than another Nissan.

I think people are confusing the unveil with the in-game launch… They aren't the same thing.

The initial hint was basically saying the cover would come off, and the next announcement stated "all will be revealed June 16th" - that, in no way, says when the car will launch in the game. VW's announcements and reveals were structured similarly, actually.

Right now it seems like there's a schedule releasing VGTs every 2-3 weeks, the BMW coming mid-May, the Mitsubishi (which had been in the code for a while) at the end of the month, the VW just-past-mid-June, and now this Nissan coming in the first week or maybe early second week of July… So far the ones that had an ad campaign for backing seem to have taken about a month to go from initial hints and previews to the in-game launch. All of this doesn't seem all that outlandish to me...

Am I the only who have noticed that this is not a render shot ? Just looks at the ground's texture and the lack of reflection of the "mirrors" on the car.

What's that location ?

Because GTPlanet is just a single entity.

There couldn't possibly be two groups of people on here, one who wants features and fixes, the other who want more content.

That would be completely insane, and would make your snarky meme not nearly as funny.

Not even sure what your issue is now. Quite frankly, I find them both insane purely because of how it constantly goes back in forth (on both the news page and the forums). One update its "where's our features?" and the next its complaints on how PD is so far behind because they don't have the BMW E30 or the Koniggsegg. I'm well aware of both sides, I just find both don't appear to be accomplishing anything with their current methods so rather then waste time complaining about the complaining, I decided to instead poke fun at both.
