Blew through it in a stock S7 Saleen. No challenge at all. Going to retry it for the money later in something with a bit more challenge. I liked the idea of doing it in a Neon. lol Truly a challenge I bet.

Daytona will be a nice money track. Go up to the 200% bonus and grind away in practically anything.

Out of curiosity, does anyone remember how to save your game, then use the ticket and reload so you can get a particular car? Been trying it, but not much clue on how it's done. I'd like to be able to use the tickets to get something I don't have.

Not as challenging as one might think. I walked every track except Tokyo which took a bit of tinkering...still won eventually. Fun car to run this seasonal with.

Even though it turned out to be no contest, I jumped at the chance to break out the Cien...what a great ride!

I've been trying really hard to beat it with my Cobra R on sports/hard with around 600hp. I haven't done any weight reduction and I haven't done the stage 3 engine upgrade. Everything else is modified minus a wing and WOW this is one hard seasonal. That ford GT (no stripe) is just so fast. I managed to win at the Cape Ring but only because I wrecked the GT on the very last turn. I stand zero chance of ever even getting anywhere near the Ford on Laguna Seca :(

I just won a round of this Seasonal using a car other than my Ford GT. I used my Viper SRT10 ACR around Tokyo R246 and won. One of the reasons why I went with the GT is for its mid-engine/RWD layout and its handling. And... I've always loved the Ford GT.

One thing I always say- try to have more than one good car for a given race. Much like how sports teams have star players and a capable set of backups, it's always nice to know you have more than one option to help you win events. It's great to know you have one great car, but try to have two or more great cars to use for Seasonals. Only exception is if a Seasonal requires only one car (like the Formula GT in the Formula GT Seasonal).

if you like a challenge, try the callaway C12 on sports hard or medium. Took me 8 or 9 tries of 2nd or 3rd at tokyo, turning the wrench and retrying until I finally edged out the GT.

Gotta say, the new ZR1 on Sports Softs with all aids turned off is quite a bit of fun. It almost feels like it turns each race into a drift trial! Lots of sideways goodness. Still a pretty easy win, though.

I used the Lexus GS300 Vertex Edition for Daytona, and the Dodge Ram 1500 LARAMIE Hemi Quad Cab for the rest of them. The truck had more than enough power to overwhelm the AI, both in speed, cornering, and...weight :sly:

Shelby series 1 supercharged anyone? I could win with it but only after putting sport softs on it.

I enjoyed using this car - slides were so controllable, I could manage them using a wheel, which is unusual for me.

I used a stock Viper ACR for Daytona, and a fully-modded Tesla Roadster on RS for Cape Ring, Laguna & Eiffel (as much as one can mod it).

It felt so good to get around the gas-guzzlers on the last corner in an electric car!

Now, back to trying R246 in the Viper - my best so far is 3rd, gotta find 12 seconds somewhere...

I use my Camaro IROC-Z Concept '88 for all the events, although I also used a Cadillac CIEN Concept '02 for the Tokyo R246 race to win the Level 15 ticket.

I recently ran the Daytona and Cape Ring with driving line off of a challenge. Although Daytona was easy.

I know this is an older topic to discuss but for Daytona Stars& Stripes use the Cobra 427 66 for a wild ride past the Vipers,Gt40s& ZR1s that dominate the line up. For a truck use the Silverado SST Concept. Best speed from the Cobra was 225MPH & 196MPH out of the Silverado. And with the Cobra I could lap to the 5th place car on the grid. ENJOY!

Sorry to dig up the past... but I have gone back to this to try some other cars out, and am loving using the Ford RS200 for this. :)
Great fun trying to catch the big boys in it! Its at about 480PP, with SS, but you could nerf it a bit more if you're a better driver than I... which I'm sure a lot of you are.

However, still very fun.
