I really like this new track limits thing. Shame it had to be with these fixed walls, but i prefer like this then people exploiting them.

We don't know what tracks it is on right now, not until they've been in the FIA rotation at least once.

Why don't they just give you a penalty for abusing the track limits instead? Oh well, it's a solution at least!

I can already see people abusing them by nudging other drivers into them and causing a pileup, negating whatever penalty there is for initiating the contact.

I completely understand the inside cut being restricted but going wide should be allowed for safety reasons. That's not a good idea. It would be better to add very high curbs that unsettle the car instead. Actually this could work with inside cutting aswell.

Going wide allows you to go faster through the corner, so no, it shouldn’t be allowed.

I doubt front car hits these inside line tyre blocks would cause a chain reaction to the followers.

If PD cared about that they would let us use the outflow at the top of the mountain at Bathurst, which is also there for safety reasons. But I guess they'd rather have people get into collisions than enable track abusers. I can sympathize with their situation due to the lack of human track marshals, but it feels clumsy.
