They'll have GT7 Prologue close to release window


If you look at the graphics on these new tracks they've been showing, they don't exactly scream next gen.

So, there is hope to see these tracks in GT5. 👍

we are months away from the PS4 a new GT game on the PS3 just doesn't add up .New tracks running on GT5 engine doesn't mean anything.

No way in the world is GT6 coming out for PS3. It ain't gonna happen. It'll be one of the titles used to sell PS4s.

It makes good sense for PD to keep releasing dlc tracks for GT5. The modelling can all be transferred to the new engine anyway. Might as well keep some cash rolling in while working on GT6 - which is a long way off.

I believe this stuff it's all GT5 engine rendered. I agree with Simon that they wouldn't reveal GT6 assets yet.

They wouldn't reveal how it will look on PS4 until they are allowed. It does not mean GT6 is a PS4 game though, might be still PS3 with imminent of it being released or being spilled beans on very soon or GT5 DLC but ending credits might hint otherwise. Graphics engine should look similar to how it is in GT5, probably slightly refreshed. Looking good so far anyway. Hopefully more videos still to come out. Miss the tracks from GT4. More the better and hopefully all in high quality.

This. The fact that Kaz himself has said that the next GT will use the engine from GT5. So I am expecting the next game to look something like GT5.

I firmly believe, and have always said that the next GT will be on PS4. I have also always said that we will have it by Christmas 2013.

This might just be me, but I seem to remember Need for Speed: Pro Street being released for both the PS2 and PS3. Why can't the same happen with GT6?

I just visited to check out news about Willow Springs (only just heard) and see this instead. Talk about being knocked for six..

I just dont know if this is a preview on GT6 or part of new spec update. Im shifting to the latter as any announcement of a GT6 for PS3 will get totally swamped by the impending announcement of the PS4

Better to release everything they have on a spec update to make a bit of money now and save GT6 for the early part of the PS4's life

You can't help but get excited at trailers like this. It would be great for PD to spring back into action with all of this new content for us. Looking forward to hearing more about this, aswell as the Willow Springs possibility!

Yep, just look how the car doesn't blend 100% accurately with the scene. Looks amazing but it's noticeable that it's a 3D model blended with a real-life scene and backplate reflections.

Somewhat similar technique that T10 does with some FM4 locations.
