This one kills me.
I spent hours on Sport using the weekly races as a means of testing cars. Hundreds of miles. the folks at Gran Turismo tell me they don’t want me to have to drive the same exact races.Yet, if I want to hit my daily mileage humiliation roulette, I can choose between spending an hour+ running three Sport races (let’s say total value for me at best: 50k), or run the truck race twice (9 minutes, 90k). Idiotic
Everyone is waiting: Kaz said: we are going to provide a massive update in which we increase 100% rewards of the half of events ( world tracks), but we don't what events he talks. Then they will increase number of events, and increase rewards online (daily races). I hope they do something also in the MISSION mode. Well'see, I dont'have much confidence, but hope I am wrong.

Nope. What he actually said was "Increased rewards for the latter half of the World Circuits events by approximately 100% on average".
That means some events may increase by more than that, and some by less (and it's not impossible that some will decrease, so long as others increase by enough to offset it). What you paraphrased it as would be doubling the rewards of half of all races, which is not what he said.

Beginning of April is between the 1st and the 10th... Who the hell is going to be saying 14th (almost half of the month) is the beginning?
So until the 10th, we can just wait it out. Yes, it's a painful wait since the bare content is so little, but hopefully it's something surprising (on the positive). But I'm not holding my breath.
And the 100% in rewards is the average. Like Famine stated, some events might just be increased by 10%, others maybe even decrease by 10% and then others increase by 200 oe 300% which by the lookds of it, the 10 lap pitstop races certainly do need an increase of those amounts.
And the Online Races bare minimum should be increased by 10x... You can only do 3 of those per hour (assuming it's the first or 2nd daily races) and they give you about 20k for a win with Clean Race bonus. That's not even 70k per hour.
That's absolute piss to our faces. That's the equivalent to buying a set of Racing Softs and Racing Mediums. 🤣
And these races are against real life players which is far harder than against the awful GT7 AI. I don't play Online much, but the people who do, and put a lot of effort into them, deserve to get decently compensated for that. Even I would probably do more online races if the payouts were decent.
The lack of "Custom Race" payouts in PD's statement frightens me...

I think this is only right if there is no “middle” of April. My guess would be between 1st - 10th April allowing the “middle” to then exist.

In my opinion, the big credits change should be in Sport mode.
Regardless of placement, the prize pool should be high, at least 50,000 for the last place finisher if they finish the race. This would be important to attract people who only play offline.
The clean run bonus should be raised to discourage dirty players. Credits for starting grid position should also be considered.
About the update, it's good to remember that first Kaz launches the taunt and after four days, if I'm not mistaken, the update is carried out.
I believe that tomorrow and until the 10th, the provocation and update should come out.
About the guessing of the content, I believe it will be a circuit only. Maybe Apricot Hill. Maybe a new "GT3 Evo" race car, probably AMG, Aston Martin or Lamborghini, and more vintage street cars.

Or have bigger payouts in Nations cup or Manufacturers races. Getting like 2nd with a clean race bonus in last nights GTR fest paid around 80k, and theres only one per hour as well

They told us about tonight's GTSport update, yesterday. That likely means no gt7 update tonight.

I'll buy gt7 in May or June, that should give them enough time to fix this mess, they should have made the same money system as in gt5,gt6 where you got a lump sum of money for doing 10 laps at Trial Mountain or 5 laps at Nurburgring 24th. Guess we'll see what happens next but they're risking losing their fans by messing up the online mode and the money system in campaign mode.

Although not for the ones that have already cleared most/all golds. I can't imagine them paying out the difference post fact.
I don't think the economy of the game will change that much that they need to do a "final cash grab" with these two cars. There are so many more cars to cash grab with later and with these 18-20 mill cars that no one in their right minds will grind out manually (at least to get all of them), any collectionist that gets bored with playing the same thing over and over will finally succumb and go to MTX.

IMO you might as well do the whole championship rather than exiting. The 2nd and 3rd races pay out less per minute, but the total for the championship at the end brings it up to around the same per minute as just doing the 1st race. Less boring than only doing the first race, but still boring enough that I'm done with it until the game makes it more worth my time to play it.

I enjoy racing these races, including the Trial Mountain Championship.
It's just more fun than this blunt in circles like we drive Blue Moon in the Pan America Championship.
In my opinion one of the few cars worth the grind.
However, that is purely a matter of taste.

Hopefully this is satire but in case it's not do be aware that they still have a few days left depending on your interpretation of 'early April'. Not to mention they seem to patch primarily on Thursdays.
