Got a few laps in, was making improvements by driving more slowly! Unfortunately got interrupted then couldn't get my mojo back. No more time for a second session.

Good challenge.

my first(and last) :) 5 laps at this.
ridiculously hard to control on a pad.

Bring on week 7 lol.

Great time! Week 7 isn't far away! Any ideas for car/track combo anyone? I'm all out of ideas.

Eiger Norwand G Trail, any 4wd, Dirt tyres of course.
SSR5, Mustang on Comfort Softs.

Giulietta73
1:57.784
DS3
auto
abs1
(gear indicator off)

This brought all the pain of the Vettel challenge back! The lap is won or lost in the first 3 corners. Not only is smooth modualtion of throttle needed, but also easing off the brakes gently otherwise the Zonda tends to snatch and round we go!!!

Nice challenge, bring on the next one!!!👍

The London reverse track in this weeks seasonals is surprisingly technical. Could be good for a TT.....

Calsonic GT-R GT500 at Fuji like I suggested earlier? It would be our version of that Asian region exclusive TT going on right now.

Yeah sorry, I couldn't find your post  that would be cool, we should find out the winning time and try and beat it :P, would people be happy with the calsonic gtr gt500 at fuji? Thanks for all the suggestions 👍

Most def not my favorite track (but I like the idea). But if the new Fortnight comp is on Cape Ring or Nurby with a good car then I wouldn't care.

Plus I'm getting used to my new wheel (Doin' my happy dance!).

Would give it a go, not my favorite Super GT cars to drive or track to drive them on though.

I know you've done a few of them now, but I found the cars on SH tyres the most fun so far. One that I tried and liked alot was the Camaro SS on SH at Monza in full rain :) (100%/100%/0 changeability) It sounds scary but the weight makes it work.

The only problem is that it requires everyone to have set the weather correctly, not that I think anyone would try to cheat with it but it could be easy to miss a small difference in the weather settings.

I agree we could try a wet race one week, that would be good 👍

Sweet! :)

After a tortuous 2 weeks I have finally updated the leaderboards for this week and last week. Will do top 10s and 5s in the next couple of days. Thanks all for your patience over the past days as I have travelled the length of britain, moved house and bought a new car. Life has not been exactly stress free! but i am back and all is well!

Welcome back NJ72 👍. I will question majyk's time though as it is bluntly impossible to do the 1st sector time he stated validly.

ok, well, I just went through and updated blindly without reading the chatter in between, so i'll go through and make an executive decision shortly :)

Incase anyone was/ is still interested in my new car: this be she:

Been modified slightly and is still in the running to be tweaked a bit more 👍

Thanks. Take into consideration that yanaran won a similar style event in WRS: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=6944314#post6944314

It is unlikely both of us can lose over 1.5 seconds in the 1st sector to majyk in equal cars.

Enjoy your new car 👍.

Thanks!

After 3 weeks of finishing 17th (or very close to it), I managed 7th in the Zonda.

Feels good.

5th overall. Well done!

You and I have had very close times every week.

Woo my best result, I put about 45 minutes in on sunday, and had no chance to improve, could have improved by about a second with more practise, the first sector was hard to nail. Good lap this week by you. We will have to see how we compare in upcoming events :) thanks.
