Damn, talking about a tire shredder we have here ! If you don't respect it, it will bite you immediatly. Absolutely lightning fast car and a beautifull monster :)

Maybe, with some luck, i can improve a tad, but i don't think i can find another second. Don't have the patience for that to start with :P

Great times wheel users !

Not very happy with that lap, doubtless I'll have another go soon, find time most places i suspect.

Great laps coming in everyone! This week seems all about throttle control! Goos luck to everybody though!

The first lap that I was able to get by the first turn on (probably the 4th try or so) was a 1:53.889. After getting that fist good one under my belt it took about 8 more laps to get it down. There's more left as saidur_ali stated, but I won't be getting it today.

Thanks, I try to take a wide entrance on my out lap on the final corner and get the hammer down ASAP, my best over the line is 136mph, how about you? I'm fine through the last 2 sectors at not spinning it's just some of tge corners in sector 1 that lose me time. I will see how my first sector time compares.

Good luck getting mid 52 👍 hope you get another chance to run. Also have you tried out the FDSC? Thanks.
My best is 137MPH with an average between 134MPH-137MPH.

I have not tried the FDSC yet. Will do when I have more time to learn the ring.

Awesome raw pace, out of interest what was your first sector time for that lap?

The 1:57.865 was with a spin.

Sector 1 was 29.177:)

Mine was 34.766. Are you sure you are looking at the right sector time or running the correct settings?

No, not right. 33.177. Went back on track, to check again. I just plugged wrong # in calculator. I was .873 in the red and time was 34.050. I used 30.050 by accident.

I think the fastest possible first sector time is probably just below 34.5. I highly doubt 33.177 is possible in the first sector with this combo unless I'm missing something. You can check sector times on live timing on replay. No need for calculator.

Just to confirm, you are using Racing Hard tyres, no SRF, stock car no changes in Arcade mode right?

Yes, I'm doing it right. I'm no noob. You can believe what you want. The damn replay didn't save correctly but you see the time up there. That's why I went back on the track to the first sector to check. Why would I lie about a stupid sector time, anyway?:grumpy:

I'm not saying you are lying but that you might be mistaken. Someone was mistaken before on this kind of event: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=6809029#post6809029

I find it hard to believe you are 1.589 seconds faster than me in the first sector and only 0.634 faster than me for the whole lap, I consider my first sector as also my best sector in my lap and I think the fastest anyone can do is only a few tenths faster, not nearly 1.6 seconds faster unless I'm missing some kind of shortcut. Just make sure to check that skid recovery force is not enabled by accident.

Well, it doesn't matter because I have no proof until I do it again (or get close, even) since the save got messed up somehow, so the time isn't "valid":grumpy:. There was a save, but there were dashes where the time should have been, and it wouldn't load or play. oh well. Probably next I'll get the YLOD :scared:(knock on wood). Oh and no on skid recovery. I always check that stuff is off first thing (and I'm looking at it right now). I know that you always have to shut it all off in arcade mode. I also know that slippery cars are easier to steer if you turn the force-feedback down.:sly:

Is it possible to use the runoff areas without getting a red lap? I only ran "clean" laps, same lines I used in the latest WRS. I think my T1 was a tenth slower than you.

Hopefully you don't get the YLOD. Maybe you might have chosen Racing Softs by accident. I think it is impossible to do that first sector time, I would question it if the fastest driver in GT5 set that first sector so no hard feelings 👍. I put the force feedback up since the update that affected FFB.

I remember from messing up some corners that it does indeed invalidate your lap if you go off track. Mine also was a "clean" lap as far as I know. Well done on your WRS win 👍, I'm surprised to have done a faster time than you in terms of raw pace considering your experience with a similar type of car on the same track in the WRS for close to a whole week. I guess you could beat my time quite quickly if you take it as seriously as the WRS event you did recently though.

Am I clicking the wrong link, or have there been no scoreboard updates for this week and most of last?

Yeah sorry about that, nj72 hasn't had time to update it, sorry everyone for the inconvenience.

After 3 days of trying, I finally managed to better my time.

Can those in the 52s/3s post their ghost replay?

Wow great laps coming in guys as well as lots of new interest on the WDSC.

This might be my best week in the WDSC so far! Currently only done 1 hour and that was on the first day. Best time was 1:54.988! Really was hard to control. Still reckon there was another second out there for me. Might have to have a proper go at the FDSC, i've completely forgotten about it! Good luck everyone else! 👍

This was a fun one, I will probably try some more later, but after about 20-30 laps, this was the best I could do. I could usually do the first sector in about 35s, so I must be losing time somewhere else.

Improved by a second, still little mistakes but don't really have any more spare time to try again.

Are you sure that's racing hards your using there? Seems around 15 seconds faster than the best so far, which is unlikely.

And ABS: 10. I doubt he read the OP. But at least he's competing.
